Here's (from my experience), for each subclass: the build, when to use it, the weapons/armor, and the role the player will take on. Titan: you want to go for Defender. Striker is good for wave clearing, but the benefits of Defender for team play and cooperation is massive. Defender is the team player. You will be great for reviving on Normal or staying alive on Hard, as well as giving your team massive bonuses to help take out bosses quicker and more efficiently. Useful throughout the Raid as a whole. The subclass build: -The grenade of choice here is Spike Grenade because you can constantly damage enemies, while the other ones are once and gone. Suppressor Grenade is not that useful since most enemies will be using guns anyways -For Lift, go with Catapult. It helps you get around quicker and is useful considering you won't have much agility -There is only one choice for your super: Weapons of Light. The bonuses it grants are massive and help out against bosses a great deal, especially Atheon -There isn't really a best option for the melee, it depends on your armor. If you are using No Backup Plans, go with Gift of Light to help your team out as your Barrier will last longer. If you're using anything else, go with Warmachine to help you get that extra DPS in there -Focus on toughness and speed as you will want to tank up and be able to get out of a sticky situation if needed -Bastion is hands-down the best modifier here because you want those Weapons of Light to last as long as possible -Only use Iron Harvest if you are using Ruin Wings. Otherwise, go with Illuminated to make Weapons of Light more potent Weapons: Primary - Legendary options: Fatebringer, TDYK, TFWPKY 1969; Exotic options: Hawkmoon (only for sustained waves of enemies), Thorn (only for keeping Minotaur shields down) Special - Legendary options: Praedyth's Revenge, LDR 5001, Black Hammer, any decent range Fusion Rifle; Exotic options: Ice Breaker (only for DPS on bosses and Oracles), Plan C (only for adds) Heavy - Legendary options: Any legendary rocket launcher, any legendary machinegun for Atheon; Exotic options: Gjallarhorn (only for boss DPS), Super Good Advice (only for Detain bubbles and Oracles) Armor: The exotics you will want to consider: Helm of Saint-14 if you use your Ward in the heat of battle or if you will be reviving people in Normal, No Backup Plans if you just want to stay alive, and the Glasshouse if you want to make your Ward into a powerhouse. Hunter: you want to use Gunslinger for everything besides the Gorgon maze, where you will use Bladedancer. For the maze, just go with Stalker and Shadowjack; nothing else matters. The Gunslinger is excellent for dealing DPS to bosses at a distance, as well as taking out Oracles. -Trimpine rocks because it sticks and does major damage, however be careful not to kill yourself with it after sticking it to an enemy. Once you throw it, don't go anywhere near it -Triple Jump is great for control, height, and distance -Combustion is excellent for clearing waves with your super and generating more orbs, which means more supers for your team -Incendiary Blade is best for your knife because of the bonus damage and helping keep enemy shields down -Go with recovery and speed for stats so you can jump and move around while getting into battle quickly again after being damaged -Keyhole is great for the same reason as Combustion, except here it overpenetrates. Also helps if there's a pesky add in front of the boss blocking the way, and you can't get around. You can just kill both with Keyhole -Go with Gambler's Dagger to deal more damage because Throwing Knife is great for quickly taking majors/ultras down or killing a Supplicant before it kills you Weapons: Primary - Legendary options: Fatebringer, TDYK, TFWPKY 1969; Exotic options: Hawkmoon (only for sustained waves of enemies), Thorn (only for keeping Minotaur shields down) Special - Legendary options: Praedyth's Revenge, LDR 5001, Black Hammer, any decent range Fusion Rifle; Exotic options: Ice Breaker (only for DPS on bosses and Oracles), Plan C (only for adds) Heavy - Legendary options: Any legendary rocket launcher, any legendary machinegun for Atheon; Exotic options: Gjallarhorn (only for boss DPS), Super Good Advice (only for Detain bubbles and Oracles) Armor: There is only one exotic here and it is called Achlyophage Symbiote because you have four Golden Gun shots which helps deal more DPS to bosses and take out one more Oracle with your super. Warlock: Sunsinger prevails here mainly because of the self-rez to save everyone as well as the ability to effectively clear waves with grenades and Radiance. You will be playing a support role here and may find yourself being a hero to everyone who has just died and nearly caused a wipe when you self resurrect at the last second. -Solar Grenade is the best (no not just for cheese!) because it can clear waves as well as deal large amounts of damage -Focused Burst is the best jump option for the same reason as Catapult -For your super there is only one option: Fireborn. The self-rez is so valuable to save your team from a wipe or not put your team at a disadvantage when you die in Hard mode -Go with Flame Shield for your melee because it helps you stay alive a bit more if you get into a sticky situation where you must melee -Focus on recovery and toughness to stay alive, especially after self-rezzing (since you will be a main target if you are the last man standing), as well as getting back into the fight quickly -If you are using Sunbreakers, go with Viking Funeral here to help your grenades. If not, go for Radiant Will to make your super last longer and give you a chance to generate more orbs -If you are using Sunbreakers, use Touch of Flame to make your grenades count even more. If not, go for Gift of the Sun so you can have more grenades overall Weapons: Primary - Legendary options: Fatebringer, TDYK, TFWPKY 1969; Exotic options: Hawkmoon (only for sustained waves of enemies), Thorn (only for keeping Minotaur shields down) Special - Legendary options: Praedyth's Revenge, LDR 5001, Black Hammer, any decent range Fusion Rifle; Exotic options: Ice Breaker (only for DPS on bosses and Oracles), Plan C (only for adds) Heavy - Legendary options: Any legendary rocket launcher, any legendary machinegun for Atheon; Exotic options: Gjallarhorn (only for boss DPS), Super Good Advice (only for Detain bubbles and Oracles) Armor: Heart of the Praxic Fire or Sunbreakers are the best options because HotPF will make your super more effective while Sunbreakers allow you to have longer lasting grenades to deal more damage plus the burn damage from your subclass. These are the setups that worked best for me. Hope this helped!
