The original story was supposed to have The Black Garden INSIDE the Traveler, and we were supposed to see planet progression as Earth> Venus> Mars> Moon.

We don't exactly know where the black garden is. Upon entering your ghost will try to locate you in space/time. Error 404 space/time not found. I'd wager that yeah, the black garden is DEFINITELY in the traveler.

The location is given away when you visit the reef. The prince mocks you by saying everyone knows where the black garden is. As in, "it is right in front of your face. You have stared at it many times. You see it every day." This is an obvious hit at the original story line. And I believe the original story is in play, we will just have to pay for it.
