I read this post and instantly started laughing. I have a couple thoughts that I hope won't offend. 1. The concept that an online petition to change the business model of a multinational company that will result in massive revenue loss will work is based on nothing more than childish fancy. Easily swept under the rug. The number of active petitioners is negligible. The reasons for the petition are based more on hurt feelings and hearsay than hard fact. The timing is also awful. Bungie has created a game that everyone hates and yet still plays. It's like your favourite fast food joint. You don't really love it, but you will likely always eat it. Petition them to make a better menu. Do it. See what happens. 2. On the other side; Bungie did screw up. Big. Even if they just acknowledged their culpability in delivering a product which was falsely advertised, this whole "petition" crap would be dealt with. The game was falsely advertised. The game was resold unfairly. The games plot was severely cut because of a staffing issue that should never have affected the consumer. The DLC released without achievements (something paramount to XBox and actually personally upsetting). The games functionality is severely inadequate and is constantly getting "updated" as part a "growing" meme Bungie has put forth. The should have been in development. As evidenced by actual in game glitches and game breaking details being found. Not just added optional functionality. 3. Finally the ones on this forum who are against the petitions concept, while in theory I agree with you, in practise, you're getting upset for nothing. Many of you have returned an order at a fast food joint, complained about false advertising on a menu, or had issues with a coupon not being accepted. Over an investment of approx. 5$. This is a considerably larger investment, especially considering the "10 year plan" Bungie has postulated. Why invest time, resources and money in a product that is currently shaky, lack lustre and under delivering? You would have to answer the same questions in any business or recreational venture. To put is simply, there is no reason to waste emotion on a petition that will never go anywhere. But, like I said, you are correct. 4. Bungie, the worst thing you could have done is remove this post from the forums. Allow it. Allow the crazies. Allow the reformers. Allow the sensationalists. Dictatorship under the guise of democracy requires freeness of speech. Plus, you know it will never go anywhere. And your supporters (which I am included in) and any who desire to think logically will never put stock in this. It is amusing at best. But you give it credence when you take the time to shut it down. Doesn't help. Finally, I am a Bungie supporter. You have made bad decisions. Every company does. Everyone has to admit them at some point to keep their consumers happy. Admit to being imperfect. No one blames you. We gripe and moan. But we love your game. We love kicking Hive's ass. We love getting screwed by Xur because every time we anxiously wait for the next visit. We love upgrading our weapons and showing them off. We would just also love being dealt with like loyal consumers instead of children you need to hide details from. I am completely expecting a flame response. That's ok. I tried not to be insulting and I apologize for insulting anyone unintentionally. I enjoy posting here when I have a couple minutes spare simply because I enjoy debate. But I am not interested in ignorant, derogatory comments. Have a wonderful day guardians!

I think to really put your money where your mouth is, as actions speak louder than words, every person who signs the petition should also not be able to use any bungie products. since you hate the company so much and feel that they are so horrible, it will be easy not to play their games or even use their forums because, as you pointed out, in doing so you are just torturing yourselves. now of course if you sign the petition and continue to use bungie's forum services or play their games, we'll all know that you really didn't have any conviction, and furthermore didn't really mean what you said.

U know what I kind of hate this kind of nonsense lol they made the game after who knows how many years spending 500 million dollars on it if they want to charge 35 dollars then let them even without the dlc the gamee is still pretty awesome and if u see how much game time it takes to get three characters lvl 30 then maby you will see that 60 dollars was worth the amount of gameplay available lol
