I thought the same when I first got it but you can't judge a gun until it's virtually maxed out. Plus there's always personal preference and playing style which means what one person likes another will not.

What does it excel at or how to you best use it? I see it has perfect balance which I might choose.

Perfect balance is needed! It's good at clearing hoards quick. 40 in the mag but it packs a punch. I don't use it too much on strikes or at all on raids but take it on the daily missions. I have still fully max mine out as yet but I am getting there. I may try it on the crucible, my k/d sucks so It can't make it worse!

I just wanna know how the bouncing bullets do. lol I'm sure it can shred in small spaces on pvp.

I just got that mod and have noticed it much if at all. Next time I use it I'll try bouncing it off walls. The quick draw is so good on it though you don't waste a lot of bullets.

Great! I tend not to let bullets go to waste bit that's because I prefer stability. It has field scout too which I have no idea how big that makes the magazine.

I think it goes upto 60 but I used the stabiliser as it is needs a bit of taming and prefer smoother ar's. I haven't got or used any of the others though.
