No one single handedly destroys weapons like Xur. 1. Amazingly Rare Exotics instantly become common because of their super cheap prices. 2. Weapon nerfing is based on "How Common A Weapon is Used" and once Xur sold the Suros, now everyones got it. "Too many people using same weapon which was not intended." Boom the nerf gun comes out. 3. Icebreaker was considered to be the goal for most of us for end game. A goal to look forward to and pray for drop, then BAM everyones got it now. Im still waiting for that guns nerf. I pray that Patience and Time doesnt ever reach his offers. At least I still have that goal left. If it ever does, may god have mercy on our souls when playing large cruicible maps.
