i had the same today.

I haven't had the problem since I found this temporary fix until they come up with a fix... If your items (consumables like ammo and glimmer boosters and weapon xp boosts) is 20/20 them bank a few and keep atleast one spot open I haven't had the problem since I freed up some room in my inventory

for me the inventory was not full. but i equipped when lading. maybe that is related... anyway, i stille love the game!
