Bungie, please fix these reported Atheon bugs asap...

Please like this thread so it stays trending. This is a team effort. Thanks... 10/30/14 - I'm on the PS4 platform and for the past two nights Atheon on hard has rendered the raid borderline unplayable. We beat it last night after several attempts only because we got lucky. It was not fun at all. Here is a list of all the bugs we (and others) have encountered: 1. Oracles would still kill the fireteam even after all oracles were destroyed http://youtu.be/VqbtqzKsiYw 2. Improper number of players would get teleported http://youtu.be/wyIB6Zmk9no 3. Relic shield would still allow incoming damage while active. (So I guess Atheon is cheesing us now?) 4. Time's Vengeance would not activate upon destroying last oracle. 5. Players would get marked that were not teleported. 6. Supplicants would not die after taking more than enough damage. 7. I don't like the fact that the praetorians now posses the warlock's fireborn self-revive ability. http://youtu.be/w4s5CW0sUqo 8. Getting detained, teleported, and insta-death on the other side. 9. Oracles not spawning when they should, then spawning all at once (reported by IchiDaKiller187) 10. Succumbing to the Oracles while Time's Vengeance is active and everyone is out of the portal - XbOne (reported by HeadButtYoNut) 11. Atheon stops taking damage. His health stopped dropping after 40%, twice - PS4 (reported by Zamm3k) 12. Teleporting three of us and immediately teleporting us back, leaving all 6 of us with atheon (insta-wipe) - PS4 (reported by Zamm3k) 13. Supplicants are killed, blow up and then revive directly inside bubble and blow up (insta-wipe) - PS4 (reported by Zamm3k) 14. Ammo synthesis does not replenish ammo when consumed (alive in-game) - PS4 (reported by FastDrinker77) 15. Atheon opens time stream at beginning of checkpoint (reported by MANSLAYER KIRA) 16. Supplicants teleport through Mars and Venus portals 17. My personal favorite...I escape detain just before being teleported only to die http://youtu.be/KOLm_h5wDK8 18. Detained after teleporting http://youtu.be/g-UBXvAOyLw How the heck do you expect us to complete the raid with all these bugs? Fixing the Atheon cheese was understandable. I don't care about the random teleport. These bugs, however, need to be addressed ASAP, PLEASE! Bump the heck out of this, guys, so Bungie gets the message. Not trying to be a jerk, it just needs to be fixed! Raid is broke right now. I will add bugs to the list that others have experienced. If I didn't experience stated bug myself, I will add who reported the bug to the description. Also,[b] [u]please list the platform you are experiencing the bug on[/u][/b]. ***UPDATE***11/1/14 So I played the Atheon checkpoint for about 6 hours last night to see how many of these issues were network related or not. My clan I run with are all seasoned raid runners so I would appreciate the people posting "it's operator error" to stop. Obviously operator error will occur occasionally. What I am trying to address are these bugs that transpire during the attempts that are running like a well-oiled machine only to be derailed by above mentioned bugs. That being said, my group experienced: 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,16 Some of these bugs simply can't be helped and you just have to cross your fingers you don't encounter them. Regarding the oracles spawning all at once or not dying when it looks like they are done, I've trained myself to walk next to the oracle I just "destroyed" and listen to see if its still active. For them spawning all at once, my recommendation is to buy The Swarm at the Vanguard Quartermaster (which has void damage). It is one of the best kept secrets in the game for the Raid when fully upgraded. The impact is twice that of the Corrective Measure (which I also have), it has bullets that stagger the enemy, mag upgrade to 60, and other members I've played with are always amazed at how quickly it makes short work of the oracles (10 rounds or less), and how much of a help it is at mowing down the praetorian on Venus portal. These bugs were not present prior to the latest patch. Bungie needs to address this sooner than later. It's a shame that it takes IGN reaching out to Bungie for them to finally comment on the matter. @DeeJ - Can we please get some sort of response on the matter?     For the oracles Sometimes it is not glitched. There are two situations 1) There is a time limit before an oracle marks you, so eventhough you kill the oracle later it is still useless. Maybe you killed it after 0.00001 sec so it looks a glitch. 2) You actually miss it. Try to count the total oracles killed in scoreboard after death. [spoiler]Or it is actually a glitch[/spoiler]

  • Got a lot of 7 and 18 tonight. Finally went to orbit and started again but both issues still popped up, mainly 7. We had two praetorian bodies sometimes after he'd revive three or four times.

  • Experienced yesterday (02.12.2014): 1,2,5,6,8,9 .... we were able to finish it... but the bugs/glitches are cruel, because most of them cause a wipe and that is really frustrating... i love destiny, but pls fix the raid

        My fireteam had to wipe on hard because of 8, they thought I fell or something so they were like dude! Edit: another bug I've encountered While entering the gorgons labyrith I was marked by the oracles X4, but I never died, and I was never marked in the first place. ninja patch

      • NO! Do not fix anything else bungie. From the recent history since Destiny's release it seems the more fixes and patches bungie release, the more bugs and errors tend to show up afterwards. The more they fix, the more gets broken. Remember that connectivity issue that cause more connectivity problems? Remember that zebra fix that created monkey errors? Even the baby bumpers for atheon now makes the raid look poorly designed. Now all I see is Atheon floating in air. They could've simply made it so that Atheon would no longer flee from AoE.

          My raid group (a steady weekly planned non-PuG party) has taken pride in not using any exploits. We finally had enough though because of these glitches and last week started exploiting whereever we could. As soon as the glitches are gone and we can do it legit, we'll actually do it legit. (which we would rather do) Please fix the raid Bungie. We've experienced most of these above. From everyone from our raid group, we ask you to please fix this raid in hard mode.

        • My only question is, has anyone noticed that an oracle spawns up top the right portal? I have done the raid 10+ times. That may not be much to others but it is enough to know the whole raid like the back of your hand. Were there patch notes explaining this? Has it been there from the start? What's going on with that. Someone tell me.

        • Agreed. My clan is doing the raid at the moment for the first time. Last night we experienced: 1. The Minotaur reviving to half life after being killed. 2. One person being teleported before Atheon even opened the time stream. 3. When coming back through to portal, animation plays for being teleported, but when coming through the other side, you're still in the teleported area. This one was ridiculously frustrating!! 4. Guardians dying from Atheon fire while inside the shield. It wasn't splash damage on the left side piece of rock either. 5. The relic shield randomly deactivating. Like you've released the button. Frustrating when everyone is shooting Atheon.

          • Bump. Also, it would be nice to have a mission complete screen after Atheon to compare stats and see everyone's drops. It would bring a sense of finality that isn't there when we just mess around until we all go to orbit.

            • Our group has seen many of the same bugs on the PS3, both in Hard and Normal modes. I've seen the Praetorian refuse to die multiple times, at least on Hard, but last night after the update (on Normal) was the first time I've seen Supplicants refuse to die despite massive amounts of damage and reaching zero on their health bar. The biggest problem we've constantly encountered though, which I don't think I saw on your list, is players getting teleported to an empty, Venus-style pseudo-clone of the Atheon playing field, when the players run through the teleporter after taking out the Oracles. This happens constantly, apparently if more than one player runs through the teleporter in a very short span of time (maybe a half second?). It's a huge problem if it happens to the Relic carrier and the group is expecting that player to jump to the middle and throw up the shield. Because of this, we've all started being a lot more cautious about making sure we see the carrier in the middle before anybody else goes there, which unfortunately costs us precious seconds of hesitation when we could be laying into Atheon. Not a big deal if we have a Titan, since we always throw up a Weapons of Light shield at the very back of the platform and jump into that first, but there isn't always a Titan in the group. Btw, one more bug (if you want to call it that) on Hard mode they really should address, is the insta-death that occurs if you happen to be in mid-air on the outside when the teleport occurs. You fall through the shield bubble that the game puts around you, your screen goes fuzzy, and poof, you're dead. Bungie should handle this situation better by re-drawing the bubble around you when you hit the ground, or waiting to draw the bubble until you are on solid ground. Anything would be more appropriate than simply killing the player, who then cannot be revived, simply because they happened to have jumped just before a teleport occurred, especially when they had no way of knowing precisely when that would occur.

            • The Hard Raid is bugged/glitched on purpose to make the Hard raid more difficult. It was made that way on purpose.

              You're going about this all wrong. Just ask them to nerf the Atheon bugs and they will be alllllll over it. They might even fix it "unintentionally".

              • After the 1.03 patch i've reported a bug separately but will add it to your list. Relic holders can't revive downed teammates. This appears in both the Gatekeeper and Atheon section in normal mode. We had to have other non-relic holding team mates come into the portals to revive players. Even dropping the relic didn't help, nor did cleaning anything or any other combination of things we tried. You can add this to your list post 1.03 (i've never run into this issue previously). Also post 1.03 (and this only happened to me 1 time) during the Gatekeeper section i we went to the left portal first (red/mars) and two team mates were teleported correctly while i was sent to a dead Venus (green/right gate). No gatekeeper, no mobs, and no way to get back. The teleporter was up, but all i could do was run through it and appear on the other side of it. Until we all wiped i was stuck there. Another one that i didn't see and i apologize in advance if i missed it, but during Atheon we kill all the oracles and mob and when we go back through someone doesn't get back to Atheon, they just jump through to the other side of the teleporter and have to try and try a few times before they get back. Sometimes this is the relic holder which makes it almost impossible to cleans anyone without a death or two.
