For nearly a decade, Xbox players have won the war on timed exclusivity. I should know, I exclusively played the Xbox 360 for almost 8 years. In that timespan, I got to enjoy DLC from 5 Call of Duty games before PS3 players did, DLC from Skyrim before PS3 players did, DLC from Fallout games before PS3 players did, DLC from Homefront before PS3 players did, and if I had an Xbox One I'd get to enjoy the new Tomb Raider before Playstation players do. But now the Playstation gets content first and somehow a great injustice is being committed. Weren't Xbox players the ones using timed exclusivity as ammo in the console war? Yes, yes they were.
Xbox gamers are upset because the timed exclusivity lasts a year & a year is too long to wait. Why? This information was made public long before Destiny launched. Xbox players knew, yet they bought season passes anyway. Why? If they didn't know, they should've known and they should've never blindly bought DLC months before it released. If they didn't buy the season pass (or a higher priced copy of Destiny that came with a season pass) then they shouldn't even be complaining. Wasn't Destiny marketed as being better on Playstation? Again yes, yes it was.
I'm sorry, Xbox people, but you literally have no one to blame but yourself, so get over it. Microsoft screwed over Bungie and hell hath no fury like a game studio scorned...
EDIT: Hahaha, keep calling me a Playstation fanboy -- I own both consoles...

actually, the exclusive does not bother me. Then again im not as closed minded as most on here. Have fun with your exclusives, and good luck with your PSN issues.
