Petition to get back the current PS exclusives and the new PS exclusive strike in "The Dark Below" before Fall 2015!!
Firstly, thanks Bungie for letting Activison announce this and not yourselves.. great respect for the community there!
I love this game. and slowly through patching I'm starting to see the full potential of this game come to life..
Now down to the gritty stuff.
I don't understand why as an Xbox One player I am going to have to wait until fall 2015 for the 2 strikes that are ps exclusive. 1. Dust Palace. and 2. The undying Mind (Dark below content) this will mean that you are denying Xbox gamers just over a quarter of all the Strike content for Destiny! its not fair. (by the way Xbox gamers make up the majority of your community today and actually have made up almost the entirety of your community since 2002!!!)
As an Xbox gamer I am going to have to pay the same amount as a PlayStation gamer for each expansion but get less content??
is this really fair? I would understand if there was exclusive content on either system but there just isn't I am out of pocket!
I understand that there are contracts in place etc with Sony but surely this can be rectified if enough people agree and enough pressure is put on Bungie/Activision.
I think its time that timed exclusives in games that are across multiple platforms were properly regulated.
I dont know if anyone will read this but if you do and you agree then please bump and share to others!

5 RepliesOnly if all xbox exclusives went away, including Tomb Raider and early MP maps for BF/CoD. Otherwise, it sucks for the industry in general, but finally PS gets something early and xbox whines.

Don't worry about it Microsoft already revenged on your behalf. They are publishing the next Tomb raider which was supposed to be timed exclusive. I have a funny feeling that PS4 players are watching as the hell slowly freezes over before it's released for PS4 :)

It really isn't fair. And before someone comes on saying "WELL SONY PAID MORE HUR DUR XBOX GETS CONENT FOR (insert game here) SO YEAH" We actually haven't gotten many exclusive content. Exclusive means that something is unique, which means that only one console gets it. Xbox has gotten some timed content, where we recieved the DLC about a month in advance, but never have we recieved PART of a DLC for the FULL price. That's cheating the customers. I would be perfectly happy with waiting a month, but not with being skimped out on content while paying the price.

You want to fork over the millions paid by Sony to get the exclusives? Have at it. You bought the game knowing this. I'm going into The Division knowing Xbox will have exclusivity. I won't be whining about it....

1 ReplyEdited by Galaxy wolf: 10/31/2014 9:18:53 AMtimed exclusives for everyone else is usually a few weeks, unless it's cosmetic content. evolve alpha, one day. destiny, a year for proper content, complete miss out on alpha and a chunk of beta? that's not giving ps owners a bonus, that'd just deliberately going out of your way to attack Xbox. especially as we are paying for the dlc. it wouldn't even be so bad if the game was overflowing with content.. but it just isn't, there's nothing to do, which only exacerbates the problem. it just doesn't feel like bungie, the company that brought us the story from marathon, the gameplay and innovation in halo, custom game support , real vehicle battles, story's of lukes steak dinners, hump day challenges, constant tweaks to maps and balance, the legendary Banhammer meteing out justice, and almost endless replay ability, it feels like someone taking the bungie name to release mass effect online with all the story and choice and customisability stripped out of it. the whole thing stinks of disappointment, and without any input from bungie on that it's very little wonder that so many people are feeling the same. there is plenty of attention to detail in some places, the little dragonflies over the water, the 6 coins in the tower, the look and feel of gunplay and the epic music, but so many basic things just go ignored.

Not to mention that PS players also loose in the end since they can't see any of the exclusives on a Nightfall, Iron Banner or some other event that is common to both platforms. It's stupid.

One petition doesn't really matter dude, playstation users getting exclusive stuff first just means that Sony payed more money than Microsoft. That's the way the world works and it won't change much

Why do you people constantly put these posts up. There's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do about it. Sony has a contract, neither Bungie nor Activision can break it. Give it a rest.

I think xbox players should pay less....but in doing so the content would remain exclusive to playstation players. Im sympathetic to their plight, but Sony decided to invest into Destiny for exclusive and paid for a year. Personally im not a fan of console wars and enjoy them all. Also Xbox users were a majority back then because Halo was an exclusive, so people with a playstation only didn't care. Now we support this game just as much as you do.

4 RepliesI'm an xbox player and I believe there's no problem with play station getting exclusive content before Xbox but... Why should we have to wait a year why can't it be a month or two later like every other game. After a year of this expansion being released it won't even be relevant while the second destiny is out well still be playing the first one trying to max out on it which most likely will make bungie activision lose money. I've supported bungie since the first time I played halo why am I as an xbox player being punished for something that went sour between bungie and Microsoft. If I were bungie I would be thinking the gamers/ consumers of their product made them who they are today without us they would have completely failed you can't screw the gamers over or people will get sick of it and stop playing your games. There's plenty of other games out there that can entertain us. I would rather play destiny but by the time we get Sonys "exclusive content" I'm sure I'll be burnt out on the game and will have moved on to another

Actually, you get the content later on so your argument is already defeated. You don't get to decide what comes with what game package. If you want the extra game content, then purchase a ps4. Otherwise you will have to wait like everyone else who doesn't use a ps4. You realize bungie and activison can sell their product however they want to?? And whether or not you agree with their methods is completely irrelevant. What matters is what is being sold, and what you are getting for that price.
