What's behind the door? I stand there nearly every night wondering, plus this guy standing there everyday without movement or voice freaks me out!

Now and then he tells a guardian they've earned his trust with their hard work and he'd like to show them his exclusive collection of items and let them choose something as a gift. He kills those guardians and keeps their gear to give it to other guardians.

5 RepliesIt may sound crazy but it almost looks like little apartments/ housing. When I was there last night I though wouldn't it be awesome if they opened it up and we got our own room/ housing apartment, they would have in there some EXTRA vault storage room and trophies or even a area to read our Grimoire Cards. It wouldn't be that hard to do as the tower only holds a certain amount of people at a time, they could give the same rooms to everyone at the tower at that certain time, then just refresh for the next bunch of guardians.

A few times I've noticed a robot standing in front of it, then other times he is gone. I have no idea what he is there for. At first I thought maybe it was signifying where Xur would show up that weekend, but that didn't happen. So I have no clue.

Nothing for a while. Note that it isn't listed on the tower map, but the locked event area is. Probably the same reason the mail/special order hut has an empty corner. Future expansion.
