That would make the game pointless you'd do the raid 4 times which you can do in 1 week with 2 characters and have all the raid gear its not supposed to be easy do it once and congrats your level 30. Its a game of chances.

I would prefer a defined amount of effort over pure chance. I know people that were level 30 after week 3 but I didn't get my first piece till week 5 running the raid every week.

I understand how you feel I personally have done the raid over 13 times and have only just last week gotten my second piece of gear. But I understand if it was a piece a run It would kill the content that is made to make the game enjoyable for hours.

in all honesty, the drive to get to level 30 isn't why I'm still playing. I'm still playing because I find it immensely fun (and the raid is the ultimate high point). However, making reaching the next level all about luck is a very deep problem in the game's systems IMO. obviously, I'll keep playing regardless because the second to second gameplay is all I care about, but I do understand the complaints against the armor leveling system. Also, why on Earth did Bungie think that all level 30's would want to look the same? it is just a weird system IMO.

And for the people who already have every single raid drop available after week two compared to people like me who took a month and a half to get one piece?
