well lets just say that it is unfinished, devoting any time to dlc before launch is just very bad tactics, all focus should be on the game that will be released, lets face it, its not even nearly what they told us it would be out here, this is how we talk

  • So what? They finished the game before release date, so they started working on DLC instead of sitting around doing nothing, or you'd complain or other will , saying bungie doesn't care to create DLC

  • You don't finish a game before the launch. If you do you bring the launch forward or continue adding content to the actual game. Why do you think most games launch with bugs? It is because they take a damn long time to finish and are normally developing and getting everything together right up to the last hour. And considering how shit the actual content in this game is, they could have done with more time working on it.

  • Please put a example , beside there are a lot of teams developing the game, one that probably fixing bugs took a while, so they had enough time to create DLC placeholders, if they were planned why are they glitchy?

  • DLC placeholders haha yeah okay. I don't buy that for a second. You don't release a piece of shit game like Destiny with a crew of hundreds and spend loads of time making DLCs it just doesn't make sense. THE biggest problem facing a game is being good from the start. Destiny failed at this outright, now they have lost players because of it. I am gone, so are many other people. When the game launched there were close to 30,000 people watching Destiny online on Twitch. Now there are about 5000 at any one time. That means about 5/6 of the player are now bored. The DLC is not going to be anything but a handful of the same half arsed crappy missions we've already seen using the same boring ass maps that we've already explored every inch of. If the icons and things were "placeholders" why are there massive pieces of world assets in the game? A placeholder isn't a large chunk of map or a pretty much completed area that people can glitch into. It is a piece of code, maybe it is a map icon. It isn't a physical construct. When you download a piece of DLC it is normally close to 1GB worth of data. That is because you are downloading large pieces of data, that will be the actual DLC areas. Destiny already has the game areas in the game. If they weren't already in the game people wouldn't have been able to glitch INTO them. You can't glitch into something that doesn't exist. The point is they DO already exist.
