I'm not voting because they're all pretty much the same thing just different colors. No real impact on gameplay. That being said I'm lvl 2 with Dead Orbit.

No they give you special abilities, such as more intellect, strength, and discipline

To be honest it's all about light. As long as the pieces I'm wearing keep me at a high level then that's what I'm going with. You can barely even tell a difference with those stats.

Also those aren't special abilities those are attributes that decrease cooldowns of the abilities you already have.
