Ideas for improvements to Bad Juju.

I'm just throwing some ideas out there, really. Personally, I really like Bad Juju, I just think that a few tweaks could really make it feel like an equal compared to the other weapons in its tier. The biggest issue with this gun, in my opinion, is a certain lack of synergy. Namely, the Full Auto and Hip Fire features. Full Auto is nice, but runs up against a brick wall due to the small clip size (there are scout rifles with bigger clips than this). String of Curses is obviously meant to compensate for this, but I find that when I'm not overleveled against whatever it is that I'm shooting, getting String of Curses to work can be difficult. A slight increase to clip size would certainly help here. Perhaps 24 rounds to a clip? That would mean an extra 3 bursts, and I think that's all it would really need. The second issue I mentioned was the Hip Fire upgrade, which is hindered by Bad Juju's visual effect. I have trouble seeing the hip fire reticle normally, but with Bad Juju it's almost impossible. Those green and black flames keep getting in the way. I think that the flames need to be toned down, or maybe the Hip Fire Upgrade should be replaced. Again, just some thoughts I wanted to put out there. Thanks for reading.

  • Bad Juju is pathetic, 15 round magazine and ridiculously low impact make it awful to use. They really need to increase the mag size and up the impact damage on that gun, until they do, Red Death will always be superior.

  • Have any of you notice that it doesn't auto reload when killing Harpies? It does with everything else. To your point though, the "flames" were annoying at first, but its also one of the defining factors of the gun to me. IMHO the more you use it the less you notice.

  • Persistence, "This weapons becomes more accurate the longer it is fired" may do well in unison with String of Curses. Or Headseeker, "Body shots with this weapon cause precision damage to be increased for a short time" would be a good fit.

    • I had a post super similar to this like 30 min ago. And in that time I've been just browsing the forums and have seen like another 4 posts saying Buff Bad Juju! Especially in how hard this weapon is to come across and get! Help us Bungie! Fix Bad Juju!

      • What it really needs is an impact buff. It's ridiculously low for an exotic weapon. Red Death blows it away. You might even get some kills to trigger String of Curses. As it stands, high level enemies are all but completely immune to Bad Juju. *sigh* And Bungie STILL gives us no word on when we can expect a fix.
