Normally I would be critical of DeeJ and his updates. More often than not they are vague and don't let the community know much about what is going on.
However today this was different. The update addressed many if not all of the issues with Iron Banner, AND provided insight on how they were going to be fixed, and how it would be different this next time around. Not only that, but it wasn't DeeJ telling us this, it was somebody actually working on Destiny, Tyson Green.
This is great news to me. To me this update was more than just a heads up on how Iron Banner is going to change. This update showed me that Bungie actually listened. And DeeJ did good as well, handling the community stuff like the player who revived others the most, but left the actual game update part to the developers.
The only thing I could ask for is a more vocal Bungie. And even though I am still waiting on acknowledgement of the game's more, glaring issues, I suppose this is a good start.
So good job DeeJ, this update was great.

Sounds like more smoke & mirrors to me. I've heard all this before from Bungie. Won't believe anything they say until I see it actually happen. Bungie has moved into the EA bin in my opinion.
