People really have to stop this satire thing. It is far from funny or educative and it isn't even really satire.
If i want satire i'll just watch charlie chaplin again instead of all these teenagers thinking they discovered something new.
I quoted once and i'll do it again.
Satire is a genre of literature, and sometimes graphic and performing arts, in which vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, corporations, government or society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be humorous, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon and as a tool to draw attention to both particular and wider issues in society.
Satirical threads have been a part of b.net for years now. They're not going to go away anytime soon. By the way, your definition of satire is one of the times Wikipedia isn't very reliable. Straight from the Oxford Dictionary:
The use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
There is a lot of satire on this site because there are so many complainers on these forums. Two weeks ago it was the most irritating and useless mass of posts on the internet. It's slowly getting better now though.
