You understand the the story isn't over right? We have 10 years to defeat the darkness. I have a feeling this game is just a intro to the real stuff that's going to happen in the next games. Bungie did the same exact thing in halo, but nobody is either old enough to remember that or everyone here has selective memory. The story will start to unravel in the upcoming dlc's and future games. I don't want to defeat the darkness and save the traveler in a month, I want it to be an epic journey where it takes years to understand what's really going on. Some of you are small minded and can't see what this first of five games really is. Destiny is a 10 year game, bungie can't come up with a completely new storyline every two years. You'll all come back when the second destiny is released, realizing that the first game was only an intro and how wrong you really were.

At this point, people trying to defend Bungie sound shrill to me. People who try to defend destiny's story sound like lunatics. As for comparing it to the original halo? You've gotta be trolling me.

I think the people who make it their calling to defend this piece of Shit, utter disappointment, excuse of a game, must either be PR Hacks hired by Bungie to try and save their lazy asses, or the kind of people who remember fondly the time their Uncles put his Dick in their Asses.

Lol if they were PR hacks that could explain where the budget went.

I'm old enough to remember Halo: CE. I bought it launch day. It had a whole story. It had a three act story, beginning, middle, end. It was epic. They added to the story with Halo 2 and 3 and so on - but it had a solid, finished, satisfying story. Let's not pretend it didn't.

Halo was indeed a standalone IP at the time. It was a launch title on a new platform without a 10 year plan as you're suggesting. So, you're either a complete idiot and know jack shit or...actually I'll just leave it at "you're an idiot and know jack shit".

Just so you know this is the first of 4 games they have been contracted to make. They will release a game every 2.5 years over 10 years with 2 DLC per game, as stated in the contract. Or fold like a cheap suit.
-
They can release 100 Destiny sequels for all I care. I won't buy any of them. I try to learn my lesson the first time.

Yes buuuut those games are different projects and not destiny lol
-
Lol!! Too funny.

Edited by Mpower3S54: 10/24/2014 8:29:45 PMKeep believing this will be a 10 year game. Technology advances too fast for 10 year games.
