  • Yeah well, I am just sick of hearing about how much of a sin it is that Destiny has DLC that was obviously planned from the beginning i.e. they have a ten year contract, but Blizzard with their world of warcraft, which was started before it was activision blizzard, charges 15 dollars a month, and has only released 5 expansions in the past 8 years and some how that is perfectly fine.

  • Yeah but your missing the point here. Destiny isn't what it was hyped up to be. WOW lived up to its name. And I'm not trying to pick an argument with you but you can't tell me this game was worth $60 at launch for the content we were given. Don't get me wrong it was fun. . . For the first 3 weeks it was out. And if your tired of people complaining about this game. GET OFF THE FEEDBACK SECTION. It's for feedback.

  • Name a game other than the elder scrolls that has actually been worth the 60 dollar price tag in the past five years. Even mass effect as a series wasnt worth the price tag until they released the trilogy. I wasnt a part of the hype machone between E3 2013 and final launch of destiny primarily because I was too busy playing PC games and attending classes. I picked up Destiny to check it out and it is one of the best IPs out right now. As far as living up to the hype machine, I would sooner hold that the player imagined a bunch of shit and took as fact a bunch of shit that was never really confirmed. Being someone who has seen some of the inside of the game development cycle, I can tell you with full confidence that nothing is set in stone until release, and even then a situation can still change.

MGS, Final Fantasy, Metro Redux, all these games have a phenomenal campaign and to my personal opinion are worth the $60 dollar price tag. But please stop defending this game. And yes I sadly was apart of the hype train mainly because I love MMORPG's, sure I'll be the first to admit I let my imagination get the best of me. But even if they failed to meet up to my standard of games they should have at least succeeded in giving an enjoyable experience to other players. Sure a handful of gamers have enjoyed what has been released to them at launch. But personally I have never seen so much negative feedback towards a game. And yes I understand the process of game development and that nothing is "set it stone" until release and can be changed after with patches. This still doesn't excuse the content and story given to us when the game was released. And has anything really gotten better ? No it has not. Well let's just say it is to early to judge Bungie on its decisions for the patches they have released. Okay even then I don't see myself playing this 5 months down the road, or 4 months, or 3 months, you get the idea. It's sad because this is an amazing concept for a game! And I wish it was executed better. Look like I said before I'm not looking for an argument. I just thought your video link was funny it made me laugh. And I'm not trying to offend you! that's the last thing I'm trying to do. I'm just saying from gamer to gamer this game was a disappointment whether or not you were on the hype train.
