What if I told you... That games have had unused content on discs/cartridges for years (Pokemon Red and Blue). What if I told you that when the first ten seconds of your video are "Destiny is better than most games for 60 dollars" it makes me stop giving a shit.

I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain how much I agree with you about the plot exposition sucking. I just don't think there is some "hidden" game that was stolen from us. I didn't pay attention to Destiny until about a week before it came out- I got exactly what I saw advertised. I also think the fact that I have almost 100 hours of quality play time in 6 weeks says good things about the game.

He isn't argueing that it's not a good game, he is argueing that it's not what we were promise, an essential bait and switch. Secondly even if something is status quo that doesn't mean it's right. If you let something slip a little, then it becomes the norm. Let it slip a little again and it's the same until you look back 10 years and notice how far you are from the start. That's his point.
