How much content will the DLC contain?
Is anyone else worried that the first dlc coming in December will be a major let down. The shallow story in Destiny can easily be ran through in a single day and I'm afraid the same will apply with the upcoming lair of the wolves dlc. They supposedly chopped the game up to resell us but how much of it are they gonna actually give to us? I can't see a single dlc making the game that much more interesting and unless the raid is incredible it will just make us miss the game destiny should have been even more. This is all speculation and only wanting to see what others think about it.
Edit: i already have the first 2 dlc purchased. Just wondering how they will play out. And having almost 300 hours already on the game just hoping for another 100 :)

5 Repliescut content is a rumor.... untill it comes officially from bungie then its nothing more then a rumor..... Bungie has come out and said a good cunk of stuff is on the disk as place holders... this does not mean its finished content.... you can get into areas by glitching there..... this is not finished content..... as for the OP.... the DLC will give a handful of missions and from what i have seen a strike and a raid...... If you do not enjoy the game as is now the DLC wont make you like it..... my best advice is sell your copy now and then rebuy it next year with all the dlc on it for $60..... I enjoy the game as is now, yes i will get to a point where i dont feel like playing but its due to i spent over 180 hours in the game as is, and will break 200 easy before i feel like needing a break.... a game that hold me for 200 hours is worth what i paid, the dlc might add another 50-60 hours maybe more if you have bad luck on drops....

1 ReplyIf they add the rumored Missions, Strikes, and Raid that's all good but I will be sorely disappointed if no new Crucible type of match is added. We need a capture the flag type game or obliteration style mode. At least one new map also and seeing how this will be taking place on the Moon it would be nice if the new map was a Hive chamber or something.

The chopped hp game thing is total BS, theyre just the placeholders for levels, From what i heard its 5 missions, 2 or 3 strike and the raid

I'd say for you that you shouldn't bother with the DLC. No amount of content is going to make you feel any better. So you should cut your losses. Personally, I have no idea if I'm going to get the DLC. What content has been hinted at seems a bit light to me but since nothing official has been released I'm reserving my judgment. Maybe I buy it. Maybe I don't but either way I'm not going to be worrying about if it's going to be "good" enough between now and then. Either it is or it isn't. Either way I'll be spending my money where I choose to spend it and I'll be happy. Destiny can be my go to game this year but if it isn't then somebody else will be.

well instead of going to the right on some routes you've already taken 100 times, you're going to turn LEFT and open a door to a new strike mission or 1 new raid :O :O :O too bad that was already finished and cut when the game launched.
