Ever think that DeeJ probably doesn't want to have to post "No news yet!" every single day, only to receive like 500+ flaming comments from cry babies? I know I wouldn't.

It is his job. The sad truth is they are shooting themselves in the foot with all of the silence. Any online game that doesn't get regular interaction with a community manager falls apart. On the other hand communities who are kept informed are more often long lasting. Prime example - Riot Games w/League of Legends They create videos outlining patch notes, community groups, community fanart/creativity, and their thought processes moving the game forward. We know the developers names and have faces we can identify with. TL;DR - More visible effort by Deej and Bungie to keep us informed on all they do for us would keep people happy.
