Bungie wants to fix the problem. Something went down during development that messed up their plans. http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2hqmkb/how_destinys_content_completely_changed_over_the I have faith that bungie wants to fix the problem. Boycotting the DLC will only cut off their funding which will make it harder to fix.

  • From what I understand it happened with the head story writer leaving. I think the entire thing got mess up do to possible laws like "intellectual property" law which entitles a designer to what he created if he meets certain criteria. Which means if he left and said this is my story by law and it's coming with me. Then bungie is forced to recreate with very little time.. This is just an idea no evidence to support, but very very possible that when the lead story designer left he copyrighted his designs for the game. What I don't understand is 500 million dollars should be more than enough to buy that copywriter. Unless the guy left under anger, then I wouldn't sell it back to them for the world, he'll I might even go to a competitor redesign some of the story and release a competition game against destiny if they pissed me off enough to quit in that fashion. The bottom line is, less than 2 months of release entire game change and we don't know why, I seriously SERIOUSLY doubt it was out of greed. And if it was then doesn't matter if we complain or not the game won't make ten years. And I doubt this issue will stay barrier that long. We will find out and it will be the marker or breaker of destiny.
