*insert obligatory Activision blame here*
Now, keep in mind, they said Destiny would be a 10 year project. Things are going to change.

Stop making excuses for them....10 year plan or not, starting off poorly only increases your chances of the whole thing tanking. If you're in a race, and it's 100 laps, and you -blam!- up shifting on the starting line and everyone else passes you while you flounder there OUT OF THE GATE, it's akin to this whole scenario. You may have had high hopes for lap 99, but now you might not even be able to compete due to your -blam!-up.
-
10 million people playing a day is a pretty strong start.
-
If the story will evolve and develop over time, still needs a good foundation. The part where every kind of Guardian starts is the one that bugs me most. Only the exo one makes sense, but now it is the same for hunters and warlocks. Sadly, it is impossible to change it now.
-
Makes sense for humans too. Awoken it doesn't.
-
Can we shut up with this 10 year propaganda.
-
That still doesn't make up for the shitty release. I'm sure if we had less, you'll still be defending the game using that lame excuse.
-
If you don't like the game, why are you in the destiny forums?
-
A 10 year milking period..
-
Destiny, DLC 1, DLC 2. Tell me how that's milking?
-
10 years worth of content that they can charge whatever they want for it. Not any different than buying expansions for other games, but just saying.
-
There's no recurring payment and there's going to be the base game and two expansions, there's no way they can do what you're saying without making the DLCs absurdly expensive, but no one would buy them then.
-
Unless you got the package and are stuck with the DLC no one SHOULD buy them until they get their act together...nothing changes corporate -blam!-butt minds like bad sales on something they thought was "golden"
