You have to speak to the speaker one last time to get the hand cannon thorn after killing the Unwed in the 26 heroic strike. That is all I can think of.

no it was a bounty and the strike was on the moon a lvl 12 strike. it said rewards after and never gave me anything.

There is no such bounty. The only hand cannon bounty is Thorn and you have to complete the level 26 version of "The Summoning Pits" Strike

It just isn't possible. I don't know which bounty you're talking about. What was it's name?

It said you got a depleted hand cannon or something like that, the bounty has a few parts to it. You only finished one part.
