I'm gonna say 5. You have the same problem I had - got that exotic helmet from Xur (big presumption there I guess, but I saw a lot of lvl 26/27 with it soon after I did), but it just looks so out of whack with the rest of the outfit. Mine was purple. Got a shader as a reward in something, that make my outfit more match the colour of the helmet so it doesn't look so bad anymore.
