Magnus and Moss Act. Many consumers are not aware and companies do not want you to know about this either. Every purchase of 19.99 or more falls within this act which protects consumers. If you feel you bought the game and were not given what you promised, you can get your money back. They have to buy the game back from you. In some states it's 3 times the value. If you feel you were taken for a ride then get your money back. I'm telling you as soon as you say Magnus and moss, it's amazing how their attitude changes.

You should be a lawyer! But before you start sending out those law school applications, perhaps you should know that it is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Here is a handy link where you can read up on it as you start practicing your ability to shout "Objection!" (you know, like in the movies and on television?) Additionally, before you start building your breakthrough case, make sure you get a copy of the legal document Bungie, or GameStop, or Amazon, etc. whipped up which clearly states their promise that you will like Destiny. With this magical unicorn document in hand (which you may provisionally call "the Happy Rainbows Warranty"), your courtroom victory is all but certain!. All of your misinformed advice aside, great interweb lawyering! EDIT 1: Before you all start accusing me of being a fanboy, or defending Bungie, I want it clear that I am extremely disappointed with this game. Aside from a few particulars, I think this is an excellent, concise video. Amateur lawyering pisses me off to no end, however, and NASTYKOANBREAD is guilty as charged (pun... intended?)

  • I never claimed to be a lawyer, but I strongly believe that you should be able to get your money back if your not satisfied with the product. You don't need a unicorn promise ( LOL ). They advertised certain things in the game that have disappointed some people. Good reply though.

  • I'll give you that, you never claimed to be a lawyer, but that advice sure sounded like legal advice, or at the very least erroneous consumer protection advice. As for your dissatisfaction with this product, we are all of us (even the fanboys, though they can't see it yet) the willing victims of excellent advertising. We were sold hook, line, and sinker. However, since no legal promises were made as to our enjoyment of the game (my optimistically titled "Happy Rainbows Warranty"), we are entitled to nothing in that regard: we paid for the game, the seller got their money, and Bungie already received their cut. The advice to be giving people is to tell them this is a teachable moment: don't buy into hype! I'm not too proud to admit that I should have told myself that several months ago. In any case, the best we can do now is refuse to give them more money until they make some headway towards providing a product we actually want to play. For my own part, I've moved on to Diablo 3; I'll wait until the content for the December DLC is released and reviewed before I decide.
