How many times does this community have to say it...this is basic, give us a damn PLOT!

Enlighten me with the story then, please tell me why there are factions in the tower in the first place? Please, tell me why the Hunter Vanguard is even at that post to begin with? Why are the Fallen & Hive enemies anyway? Yeah, sit down kid, some of us don't want to go online and read the lore when it should be IN GAME. tsktsk

Well, if you have time to post, then you have time to read a few of the cards. The individual cards on the factions tells you what they used to stand for, and what they are now. Would take about 2 min to read all of them. Again, just because you are not smart enough to pay attention and figure it out doesn't mean there isn't a story. You just want it spoon fed to you...bet you got a lot of participation trophies while growing up too...

I have a all the grim cards and read them multiple times, at best there sloppy, there is nothing linking stuff together in genral. It doesnt have a full and submerging story, you dont feel anything for your character and there is zero detail, answer me 1 question, what is the fallens home planet name?

How can you know what the story is without having a back ground about the people in the story?

You are talking about the creators of Halo, one of the best story game series out there. If you forget everything you know about Halo, and just look a the first game, you know very little. It's not until game 2 & 3(2 and 4 years after the first game) that you get all the back story, and even then there's still more to learn. People are spoiled because most didn't have to wait for the story to develop, as they didn't play it from it's original release. They picked it up later and was able to play it back to back. If you really look, the stories are really similar in many aspects. Oh, and you don't know the name of the Covenants home planet/planets because you are never tome the name....

I never played halo ive all ways had ps4 so they wernt relivent in my ability to ditermin a poor story. Back story in games is not uncommon at all infact there less games with out one, there is no depth and no back ground information on any species/races in the game not even the humans, it is a poor story i.e explanation and making you feel attached to the characters. Were did the travaler come from? An i dont want a specualtion i want to know exactly were he came from. Even with most franchises that have 1-4 storys each one has a start/middle/end and then has a story that connects it threw the series

Im not seeing it your way i tottally disagree, knowing an aliens home planet or basic background is key to understanding the dynamic of the relationship between them all and is basic story telling. Destiny story is pathetic, only the fanboys defend it the critcs and every 1 ive talked to in game/forums and in real life have totally agrees, the story is gargbage and gameplay will only save it till a better title comes along
