There are many thousands of posts in this forum, friend. If you want help, I'm afraid you're going to need to detail your problem in each thread. As it stands, you're saying you aren't losing ammo when switching characters so I don't see an issue without the additional information

I'm not switching characters my son is on a entirely different PlayStation this is my only and single character it's a warlock level 29 here is a list of my weapons primary suros regime secondary light beware heavy weapon spirit of alliance here's a list of my armor helmet facade of the hezen Lords arms fate killer grips chest heart of praxcis fire boots Astro lord boots and I'll say it again so I'm very clear my character is on a PlayStation slim downstairs in my home my son system is an older PlayStation upstairs in my home I am NOT switching characters

OK. So you have two playstations. One for each person that wishes to play Destiny. You have also listed your gear. So please state: What exactly is the problem you are encountering by having two different playstations?

The problem is with my character not my sons I only used his character as a test. So take his playstation and character out of the equation. If I go to say the cosmodrome and load up on ammo Primary, Secondary, Heavy all full. Then I travel from one planet say earth to the moon I start to lose ammo slowly. Example Primary drops down to one clip, Secondary same story, Heavy slowly go's away the more I travel until I am down to one bullet.

Edited by Absolute Dark: 10/22/2014 2:56:01 PMOkay, you are stating that without firing a weapon, regardless of the class, your ammo is disappearing without being used? Are you switching your armors around? Reason I ask about the armor is that some add ammo per clip or overall and we need to be sure your are not firing your weapon at all when you state you are losing ammo or it is being drained or leeched from your inventory.

To clarify even further I have extra ammo for my primary secondary and heavy on my armor set up. When I got to the moon I had 33 shots in the magazine and 177 in the clip my fusion rifle had 6 shots in the magazine and 17 in the clip my heavy had lost approximately 75 shots .

No I'm not firing my gun at all that was a test I did yesterday just to see the base level the game would bring you in if you had empty ammo. I went into the Cosmodrome I high fived everyone as I like to call it basically my melee no bullets were used I maxed out on all ammos. Then traveled to the moon and was reduced to one clip in my primary and secondary and my heavy weapon had taken a big hit on my ammo.

Okay, it does sound like your character is experiencing a glitch that I have not read of before. You have cleared up any thoughts I may have had about reasons the ammo loads were changing. If this is a known issue I would assume Bungie is working to rectify it. If not, I hope they read this thread and take note of it. Hope this gets resolved for you.

Hey thanks again dark I appreciate your input it's just kind of crappy this is what I get for being this dedicated to a glitched game since the day it was released.

I have played games with a lot worse issues and some that seemed to run perfectly. They will hopefully get it all worked out as soon as they can. It is a massive game with so many nuances to it and I can't imagine the coding nightmare it is. A friend of mine used to work for a game developer and it drove them nuts to find issues after testing endlessly to get it right. I am impressed with the game and am willing to give them time to work out the kinks.

I'm am a music producer I set up production studios that's enough of a headache so I do understand the technical side of things I just wished they had tested this more before release. But I will be patient as I have seen many glitches before this one and it seems you have as well. Thanks, And cheers

Yes. That's how the game works. If you're using synthesis packs, you should wait until you reach your destination. There is a 5 minute cooldown between synthesis packs so people cannot just do as you're doing by going into orbit fully stocked for each mission.
-
Correction he's not losing mo from any of his guns
-
If this is how the game works why is this not happening to my sons character as I said I tested it this morning he's not losing heavy ammo upon travel and I'm not always using synthesis I'm picking up the ammo.
-
*shrug* It happens to my characters. Probably has something to do with his level versus yours, or a miscount, or the ability of an item equipped. We don't know all the details of how the game works yet- it's still too new. But there's no need to panic that you are losing ammo because other people are too.
-
Well that kind of makes me feel better at least I have my primary suros regime and my secondary light beware to rely on for now kind of crappy though ammo synthesis is getting expensive.
-
He said" no loss of ammo"......uhmm what?

loss of ammo on travel.....
