"I want answers"
"This is an ultimatum"
Entitlement culture at its best...
English
-
So is being promised something and then not being given it entitlement? We deserve answers
-
Did Bungie ever explicitly say "We promise X will be in game." ? Because if they didn't, no promises were made.
-
Edited by WhatHityou: 10/23/2014 5:57:28 AMActually yes they promised an epic story several times in fact. You could defenetly argue almost objectively so, that they did not deliver.
-
Except they never said they'd give that to you all AT LAUNCH. stupid -blam!-boys never learn or listen.
-
Not explicitly saying when a good story would be part of the game is a perfect example of how the marketing was designed to fool the player base. Plus there is a strong argument that this may be the best story you get in this game due to the expensive and high demand nature of the voice actors.
-
That's called false advertising. Look it up fan boy.
-
Except it not. Especially when they explicitly state, prior to launch, that there will be dlc and it will contain new content. Listen to how they describe things. Listen to the literal diction. That's where these cod fanboys are missing the reality of the situation. They didn't say all this shit will be available right away. That would be bad business, especially in an "mmo" title, even if it's not an mmo rpg in the traditional, pc sense.

Not sure if you have seen this but I found it enlightening. He is long winded so you probably won't be able to watch it all. http://youtu.be/UZ5BpeHVTWY
-
Enlightening? No. Not at all. Very interesting to watch, but considering most, and I mean quite literally most, of the video is indeed speculation, taking place during the alpha and over a year ago, it doesn't lend much credibility to this argument. Also, his points on player economy for end game loot are at time heavily contradictory, and he doesn't even stop through this discussion to explain why a trading system/economy might be bad for destiny specifically.
-
A lot of the trailers prior to the game's release show content that are not in the game. Now if that content never sees the light of day, it's perfectly acceptable. However, if it shows up later as a DLC, you can bet your hard earned money they cut it for future DLC. That's bad business.

I'm half expecting the OP to try and start an "Occupy Bungie" movement next.
-
Haha nice
-
I know right? I hate my generation so much.
-
i paid for this shit so i am entitled to something. they didnt sell what they advertised. so who is at fault?
-
You for not -blam!-ing understanding that a 10 year game plan does not mean all content available immediately.
-
Destiny 1 will not last 10 years, let alone 1. This game will die like the prematurely birthed baby it is. Come November when all the AAA games come out, no decent taste gamer will be on this.
-
-blam!- off retard
-
They didn't? The TV commercials and internet ads sure look exactly like what they delivered.
-
Don't ever get into the stock market kid.
-
Development videos and demonstrations from over a year before the game is released do not constitute advertising. Were there many things talked about, shown, and hyped up in development? Yes. Were they in actual advertisements for the game? Nope. There is a difference between development and advertising.
-
Your entitled to the game, and advertising is just another word for propaganda or in case you still do not understand, a lie.
-
You have over 5 days play time into the game... you got what you paid for many hours ago.
-
Don't reply with such stupidity did I tell you I'm happy with the game? I'm on the verge of quitting
-
This reminds me of my 2 year old nephew when he throws a tantrum. Holds his breath till blue in the face trying to get what he wants. How silly he looks in the process...
-
He pays for the tantrum with his money? You stupid or something? I wasn't given the game for free
