Thoughts and Concerns.

So, I awoke today and planned to play Destiny. Upon realization that ive completed any bounty released, dungeon, even the raid(to which i got nothing but a single piece), oddly enough i still wanted to play, but after consideration i took a step back to ponder the reason i looked forward to Destiny's release and the eventual gameplay that would follow. See ive been reading all related posts and watching old beta gameplay and ive come to the conclusion that I would of really liked to see more content given to us - the consumers than a cookie crumb partial release of a game that was supposed to be EPIC, not mediocre. I mean mediocre because of the lack of content and communication not included. Its as if bungie tossed its baby out early because it was anxious and realized the masses were getting frustrated. I am sure that there must be a good reason to why bungie decided to toss destiny out to us at this time, but i am failing to understand why they would think that this game would entertain us the masses for awhile... The truth of the matter is I beat this game like many others in the first 6 days after release. i did not begin to grind untill the 3rd week in porder to keep myself enthralled by the graphics(top which id say are average at best on Ps4), makes me wonder, was the rendering of the "Real Game" too much for their servers to portray live? or was bungie's Destiny, just a pack of highl graphics rendering lies wrapped in a nice shell ? I want to believe that the expansion that is being released soon is going to curb all of our appetites for a better tommorow, but with what has been projected so far, I am not quite sure that opening one new region and a couple diff pvp areas is going to satisfy the Millions of people playing this game... not being a game designer myself, I cannot begin to understand the pressure Destiny's staff are under currently trying to remake a game that was at first sight, Perfectly serene. Whatever mistakes or choices that were made, must have had to happen in order for the launch to occur. Although I cant help feeling that the launch was premature. Thoughts? Feelings? please do leave a comment or two.

  • I just find the game mind-numbingly boring now. In the so called "Open World" and Strikes it's Always the Same Enemies! Always in the Same Place! Always with the same Deaf,Dumb & Blind AI! I'm sure I could play missions blindfolded without a Hitch! Maybe when the Active Player Population drops to minuscule levels Bungie might give a damn, and stop feeding us Gobbledygook and BullShite? Bungie must be located in North Korea now: They totally ignore the vast majority of the player base and keep spouting Propaganda and Lies! Whenever I get GTA V, or Dragon Age Inquisition, or Far Cry 4, it's gonna be Destiny's "Destiny" to get Deleted! Its going to have to radically change and become something more than the bore-fest it now is before I even think about re-installing it. 10 Year Plan! This game will be lucky to last 10 Months in its current monotonous iteration.

    • Destiny's situation is not unique. There have been many game franchises that began on the "vanilla" side. The development issues over the last year are well known. Those were quite honestly out of Bungies control. The majority of posted complaints by forum users are personal, judgmental and unwarranted. The only real game issue seems to be the server issues, which Bungie (to it's credit) has continued to address. The amount of post-release "fixes" have been high, which to me negates the claim by many that "no one at Bungie is listening". They "listen", but to game data and not the whining and flaming of a minority of users. No game is perfect, but Bungie has done more to address game issues than any other game I can remember.
