Did you poll people who are not on the forums and who are happily playing the game every day enjoying everything that is there and looking forward to what is coming in the future? There is a loud voice on the forums speaking a lot of negatives, but just because they are the loudest does not make them the majority.

Yes tha's it all the people who hate the game for no reason are on the forums. All the good people who rightly love this game are happy and silent in their houses, even though the game does everything possible to funnel them onto this site to check on their characters, and read grimoire cards. Yup you hit the nail right on the head there sir. And all the reviewers... were... um... sick! with an.. um... special flu bug.. that... um... made them hate everything they play tested. Yea! Thats right!

  • Do you believe that everyone who plays the games utilizes the forums? It's wholly possible to use the app and website and never touch the forums. I think most of the reviewers rushed through the content and didn't wait for the raid to post their review. I think only IGN actually did that. Reviews started to get posted the day after release when it wasn't really feasible for people to have fully experienced the game by that point. I was specifically commenting on the OP's statement that the majority of people are leaving the game, not the general rating of Destiny as a whole.

  • Have you ever talked to people on your mic? I have from friends to stranges. Nobody is impressed with this game based on it's hype - EVERYBODY is aware that content was cut and defluffed and made lackluster, go watch the E3 demo where a ketch knocks down some of the rocket towers in the cosmodrone during a public event - some shit you will NEVER see in the final version, both cinematic and badass. And if they are impressed with this game they would probably be impressed if I told them I was going to bring them a box of cookies and left a bag of dog shit on their steps instead, because essentially that is what Bungie has done.

  • I have talked to many people on the mic. People want to know more about the story. Most people don't believe the conspiracy theories over cut content. Regardless of the fact if Bungie wanted to alter the story prior to release they are full within their ability to do so. They own the game it is theirs and they are free to do whatever they like with it. I saw the videos and it looks cool but think about it logically if the ketch knocked down towers every time a public event occurred how would that work. Is someone rebuilding the towers each time they fall? For a one time event or mission yeah something like that would work but it's not feasible in an event that repeats every 30 mins. People have good ideas but they are subject to change until the game is released. It was a good idea but didn't make sense in practice. Do you normally play with bags of dog poo for 156+ hours?

  • My friend - it's not a conspiracy theory when there's 100s of videos out there. I've personally been inside 4 of the DLC levels and collected ghosts from them. It's there, it's on the disc, believe it or not. If you don't look up Vault of Seraphim glitch and try to replicate it. I garauntee 1. It will work. and 2. you will be left with a bitter taste knowing that raid has been there since BETA and we still wont' see it till 2015. And yeah I get your point there - it couldn't happen EVERY time, but why not have it happen at all? I mean that was the first time you step into the cosmodrome, it's a perfect time to introduce CO-OP and public events in 1 - which was clearly the original intent. Lastly, I think it may be a trick question because I've been driven to play some utterly crap games purely because I have them in my trophy list. I would still prefer the box of cookies I was shown, but I have to make do with what I already paid for for one thing... oh and PS4 has a pretty lacking selection of games atm... playing with a bag of dog shit is infinitely better than trying to get through the 9000th platformer they give away for free -_-

  • I've seen the glitch videos and I've yet to see any DLC 100% in the game as it currently stands. There are some map areas that are there yes. Whether they were there on the disc or were patched in one of the many updates we've had since launch I don't know. But they are not complete. No one is able to actually play any mission or raid or anything else from the dlc. On top of that Destiny never said there was going to be more than one raid when it launched. I was informed as the consumer on what I would be purchasing for $60 and I received what was advertised. If they had said there would be 20 strikes and 4 raids in the game at release and then didn't deliver you might be on to something. But that is not the case with Destiny. Until a game is released it is a work in progress and everything is subject to change. Back to the public event in the cosmodrome. It may be your first time but what about for the other people on the server. I guess this could have been pulled off if it was a solo mission area that no one but you saw. But you could also argue that you saw it in the vidoc fall and now it's no longer there in the game for anyone else to see it fall. There are no introductions to public events currently you just happen across them in the public areas of the maps. It's intent was to look cool in the demo but turned out to not work in the main game. My advice if you think a game sucks find something else to play instead. Life is to short to be playing bad games. Especially when there are so many games out there. It was a little different when I was growing up and there was only a handful of games available, however I currently add games to my backlog on a weekly basis it seems. Totally up to you though.

  • Based on every player interaction, including random invites, other forums, and people from destinylfg, the majority are dissatisfied. You have it backwards; the biggest defenders of Bungie all come HERE.

  • My reply was in response to the OP stating people were mass leaving the game. I do not see that from the forum or from the games. People have their issues with the game yes. Do I think the majority of people are leaving Destiny, no I don't think that is the case.

  • Well I sat and listened to what people were saying for quite a long time. So I think you might want to consider that. Did I say the majority of players were leaving? no. Do i personally know many irl and otherwise that already have? yes. "The people" I'm referring to speaking are not ALL the people. Maybe you should take a look at what I did and then think about what I said.

  • Your article is very one-sided. You state in the title that "The people have spoken" Some people have spoken. You say that there are hardly any players at all backing latest update announcement. There are some on both sides. You say there are many people that say they don't want to continue playing. There are some people saying this. You are making the argument that this is the majority. You are only giving one side of the story. You state that you spoke with people in game and scrolled through all the posts in the update. For one, most of the people probably responding to the update post are going to be people that are upset with the changes. I don't think I've ever felt the need to reply to the update post when I agree with the changes. There are probably others who feel the same. You do not quantify anything you are claiming. I could have picked 5 negative comments from the update thread and come up with the same conclusion as you but that doesn't mean it's the full picture at work. How many people did you sit and listen to? How many gave a negative response and how many gave a positive response? What questions did you ask these people? Were they leading questions or were they unbiased. I don't doubt there are people that feel this way, there definitely are some. But you show nothing of the other side and my post was to draw attention to the other side.

it says "the people" aka the people who participated. not "all the people" not "everyone" not "the majority". everything i put into this had to do with the thread that started it. I appreciate your effort, but I'm sorry to say you're taking things out of context, and putting words in my mouth that I never said.

In other words, if you have a problem, go take it up with the large number people who provided all my information. Because not one thing written in my post came from my own words. ;3 As far as your who, and how many questions go. You could have simply used the link I provided to answer your own questions. I'm sorry I had to point that out to you. (for the second time) ;3 Oh, and let me know how your "asking every single Destiny player" thing goes. I'm sure you'll do great. After all that's why you're here trolling a feedback post instead of actually doing anything useful. <3 Also thanks for the feedback on my feedback. My power level has just risen thanks to your advice, and I mean that sincerely. ;3 <3<3<3

  • I was not trying to put words in your mouth only point out the flaws in the way you gathered your information and how you portrayed the information you posted. The first time I clicked on the link it just took me to the update page and not your actual post on that page. Now that I've seen your post I have to say the method in which you used to gather your information was specifically meant to enrage a sub-section of the community. It was very one-sided. It was not about asking every single Destiny player. Your quoting it makes it appear like you are trying to put words into my mouth that I never said. If you think this is trolling then you have a strange view on things. I'm trying to have a discussion and show a different side to your argument. What you did on your post is more akin to trolling. My post was about pointing out the flaws in your approach and stating that there are other people out there. If you do a post and say reply if you hate gatoraid, and then say look the people have spoken and they hate gatoraid and here's all the reasons why. You leave out a lot of voices and opinions. There are such things as unbiased polling which is not what you are doing. The feedback I have to give you is that you should be performing unbiased polling of both sides. If you want to use extreme methods like you have previously done then to be unbiased in your results you would have needed to create a reverse post where you over the top bash every little thing about it and see what the responses are. Did you do this? I would figure you would have posted about it if you did.

  • The flaw is in your perspective on it, and if you expect me to be able to ask literally everyone you are simply an insane person. lol Anyway... since you know so much about how to go about doing all of this you shoukld go set out to do a better job than me, instead of wasting your time arguing about nothing. ;3 <3<3<3

  • I never said anything about asking literally everyone. To give an example about unbiased polling. If you ask only republican party people if they like the current President, you can pretty much guess what their response will be. If you ask only democratic party people you'll probably get a very different response. You wouldn't pick one group over the other and publish results based on that because it would be skewed. For it to be an unbiased poll you would need to ask an equal number of both and use the combined data to publish a result. It doesn't matter the number of people you poll as long as they are roughly equal. This is why I mentioned doing a similar post in the reverse fashion so you can compare both sides to get your results. It seems you only care about making your one-sided point though as you only did one post.
