This goes out to whoever reads these things from the dev team... By now I'm sure you are aware of the growing contemptment of the player community within this game about how they've already done everything it has to offer so far. Kudos to them for being perfectionist and all that, but for those of us who have actually taken the game slowly its still reached its apex. There is nothing left for us to do except grind out shards and energy to max out our gear so we can hit the level 30 cap. That being said, a lot of us really enjoy this game and want to continue playing, but with nothing to look forward to except leaked info from other players who have messed with their game discs, and community speculation (the rumor mill abounds), there's not much of a target to aim for. Given the fact that Activision had a hand in this game and that apparently Sony put a bigger chunk of money into than Microsoft, the fact that it lacks some or most of the key defining features of an MMO such as a trading system, a crafting system, true open-world content (to include PvP) that doesn't involve having to go back to a main screen in order to move on to the next quest, and most of all, lots of endgame content, it amazes us. How could Activision, a company that has kept World of Warcraft swinging for so long allow this game to be so short lived? Don't get me wrong, the gameplay its self is phenomenal, however there simply isn't enough of it. TL:DR - Bottom line up front is that if you want people to continue to play this game, then it would behoove you to give us something to look forward to and answer the questions being asked. There are a lot of them, such as "what's the third subclass slot for now?"; "what will the level cap be after the DLC?"; etc. Patch notes are patch notes. People are always going to rage about them. There is no need to waist your breath explaining yourselves to the nay sayers. Instead, give those of us who like the game some hope....post a video trailer of stuff from the DLC or something...that's all we want. Talk about (if any) the new subclasses with us...allow us to input our ideas and thought into the future of this game WITH you...
