You keep flipping the spawns. You think you're helping, but you're not. Pick A or C, then hold it.

Edited by Prozog: 10/23/2014 4:00:35 PMSo, when you hear COMPLETE CONTROL>>> RUN TO THE NEW SPAWN! Not rocket science... control is point based on capture and kills in defense of (or taking of), so the more you control and kill around THE FASTER YOU WIN!

This the topic if the week now? QQ

What about the "D"?
-
But it's more fun to hold P and V and leave D
-
it really depends that the whole point of a strategy. say they are all over B. your not going to just keep throwing bodies at them while they wait at B. your should go capture the other objective so they have to thin out a bit and give your team a chance to cap B. if you just sit back and hold those two points then what's the fun in that. you need to put pressure on the other team so they cant ground up and attack a point all at once
-
it awesome if a triple cap takes place it not easy but you can rack up serious points if you are able to controll all 3 flags usually only happens against bad players or the ones who dont play objectively

Edited by Twilight Gap: 10/23/2014 8:05:58 AMthe point of control is to slay the othre team while holding the two best zones on the map. on shores of time, it's b and c. on rusted lands, it's a and b. on bastion, it's b and c. on firebase delphi it's a and b. on blind watch, it's b and c. you only need two, and the main reason you're doing it isn't just for the point multiplier. these zones give your team favorable positions and favorable spawns. A on bastion seems like it has high ground, but you also only have one route into B, which makes defending B while holding A very difficult. the same goes for Shores of Time; A has heavy ammo spawn, but it gives you low spawns and makes it hard to challenge C or B. it has nothing to do with "spawn camping". by capturing a zone you don't need, you force the other team to spawn BEHIND you and then you take their place, effectively screwing your whole team over (especially on blind watch; DON'T TOUCH A). this leads to your team dying and being scattered and then you lose the favorable zones. you want two zones, but you never want the zone that gives your team bad spawns.
You keep flipping the spawns. You think you're helping, but you're not. Pick A or C, then hold it.
Puff the magik dragon spreads her wings to escape the lethargic monotony of self loathing encompassed by her total love of all things bright and evil. But that is not her only contradiction for when she sees and Apple she eats an orange and then poll vaults across the great vast nothingness of everything that is not something totally and absolutely incapable of brining the bread to the table with a brick of Ice and the coldest flame that you have ever felt... What can I say, Puff's a bitch :/

I'm going to keep flipping spawns since the game is designed to test the stronger team to their limits. I'd rather win by completely dominating the enemy team rather than hiding back like a little pansy pants.
-
I only play control - I love it tbh and I'm fairly good at it And it ANNOYS me so much when my team goes for the triple cap -.- they just F u c k everything up then i get -blam!-ed over because watching over B
-
Think deep and hard and imagine a forum that cares about what you just said..... And go there!
-
I can't. I'd rather be in the enemies faces having fun than sittin by my campfire, watchin' my radar as I enjoy some s'mores. Sometimes it costs me a loss, but I don't enjoy crucible or s'mores that much anyways. I do it for the marks.

This man just taught me more about Control in one sentence than angry elitists have in a whole rant. +665
-
But I love my lockdown medals..... Pick the other team plays well, then we hold two points... if they're even worse than us... then it's three :-)
-
Edited by Un1337ninj4: 10/22/2014 5:35:28 PMNope, definitely going to cap all three. Why? Because I prefer to keep 'em scattered, then there's the fun of actually having competition. It's no fun if the enemy leaves. An easy victory is as useless as killing a dreg.
-
Maybe if you held A and B while I captured C, it wouldn't be a problem.
-
Thats the exact reason why i get killed a lot. I am holding one and the rest say i am stupid and leave me to die over and over again. I need a better team 😔
-
Here's what you do: gather a 6 man fireteam Speed capture the base you start at Assault the base the opposing team started at Repeat at zone B Continue to swarm capture any base that gets taken over one at a time Take care to never bunch up and save your specials for certain situations Also enter from every point of entry at once, communication is key You will take deaths at times but these deaths will never go unanswered immediately by your team. Victory dance party on the body of the last man killed.
-
Spawn camp much?
-
People not trying to capture B at the start is my biggest gripe. Seriously, it's best if everyone but one person tries to capture the middle at the start whilst one person gets the close point, there's no point giving the enemy wto zones right from the start of the game. Also, when the enemy is trying to neutralise a zone and everyone just runs to the enemies remaining point instead of defending the zones we have.
-
I guess this guy doesn't like domination medals
-
No thanks rather capture all 3 and get more points for kills, makes games go faster
-
I like badges. Capturing all is the right way going by the mechanics. If you can't adapt then that's your problem.
-
I four cap, how long will your river of tears be?
-
Damn spawn switch gets me every time.
