Edited by Caid Graelbor: 10/21/2014 2:28:49 AMYeah but the division is being developed by Ubisoft. They have a history of building engines and IP's with repetition and fairly shallow gameplay for the first game in the series. According to reports the demo we saw was the only thing they built for the game. There is not game yet.... So how they are going to flesh that out and release it for this coming summer is beyond me. We already know it won't look like the demo. Remember they were walking and walking it a reason-- high end pc dev kits running max graphics. Just like the visual scam with watchdogs footage at e3. Ubisoft pulls the same crap as Bungie. Now, maybe they have been monitoring the communities reaction to underdeveloped games but I am suspicious.

I am always suspicious.... but since destiny failed it's time to look towards the next game to fill the void. I hope the backlash bungie is getting serves as a warning to other developers, but I fear the fanboy's undying devotion to this sinking ship may send a mixed message... apparently some people like to get ripped off...

Edited by Jru5tryker: 10/21/2014 3:11:56 AMIt has a Dec 2015 release date. Although that won't matter if it's as underdeveloped as you have heard.
-
I feel you there. But at the same time I'm careful to not get too hyped up for the game like what happened with this game.
-
I recall saying something similar on the Defiance forums about Destiny. I think i might take a wait-and-see approach this time, though i admit that The Division does look to have potential.

Destiny looked to have potential as well

Based on the trailer, looks like there is something resembling an in-game clan base of operations. If that is the case, that's a major pro over Destiny's model.
