A question for DeeJ. Regarding the VoG. EDIT
So the community, to my knowledge, is not going to be happy with the upcoming update to the Vault of Glass. My question is for the fine people at Bungie, are you folks listening to us at all? I support the 'baby bumper' 1000% and I am sure everyone else does. Even the cheaters. What I can't accept is that you are messing with our strategy to take on the Vault. You guys wanted us to play the game our way but with the upcoming patch, its not our way at all. I am good in and out of the portal and can handle the relic fine. I am speaking for those who can't and are use to their roles. It is going to create mass confusion when people are going to decide what they need to do on the fly. People will start to get angry at each other. Friendships will be broken. For the frail at least.
DeeJ can you seriously answer me? Are you guys gonna take our request in to consideration? Or are you going to just brush me under the carpet? ( Meaning no answer at all) An answer is better than nothing bro.
Don't forget to like so it can trend. I need supporters if you guys actually want to see if DeeJ responds or not.
EDIT: I forgot to mention. Why aren't you guys/gals addressing the issue where Atheon only sends 2 people in instead of three?

This is an amazing idea. I hope Bungie takes that in to consideration.

Seriously, taking this feedback and any other feedback and sitting down with developers expressing how we feel means a lot. Yes i understand that some things cant always go our way. But to hear that you are relaying how we feel and what we want is good enough than ignoring it completely. I will continue with feedback like you wished.

4 RepliesMy thread in the weekly update has 2800 replies detailing basically the same things. DeeJ statement was an overall blanket statement to everyone. It's a pacifier that says "we hear you" I doubt it was directed towards you or myself specifically.

And when you leave the team during the raid then it makes you a huge dick. I have no complaints about the game play its the fact that I have to find other people and work with them, this is not simple for me.

2 RepliesNeither running inside the portal or outside, relic or not, is hard. We had a first timer accidently get ported and grab the relic tonight, he had literally never touched the relic before, and we quickly coached him with what to do and everything went smoothly, he actually enjoyed it. He had never even completed the raid before. DO NOT TELL ME that running the relic or learning a VERY simple strategy is causing all of you people to get your panties in a bunch. If you can't watch a simple 2-3 minute video, or read a couple paragraphs on what is happening inside. MAYBE just MAYBE you shouldn't be raiding. Bungie don't listen to these god damn cry babies.

I don't like the idea of random teleports in the Atheon battle. That said, I would trade higher chances of raid gear drops for random teleports. It's annoying completing the raid with my friends 5 times and only having 1 set of boots, a decent rocket launcher, and a decent scout rifle to show for it. Some of my fireteam members haven't gotten any armor at all. It sucks having to wait a week for the rewards to reset.

I'll still play the raid... Why Not... Whatever it takes, I guess. What bothers me is this: I don’t look at it as a glitch if *I* can fall off the edge and my reason for death was “Misadventure” or “Killed by the Architects”. Obviously, Bungie doesn't feel the same about THEIR characters suffering a similar fate (and yes - I've been pushed off the edge by a Minotaur blast that didn't kill me - but sent me off the edge of the environment.. But, obviously - that's somehow 'different'. :O)

5 RepliesI am blown away at how many people are crying about the random porting on the Atheon fight. Unless you are doing the raid with people who are very bad at this game then this part is not difficult AT ALL! What is wrong with them making something that was supposed to be challenging....challenging? Bringing people along on your raid that are unable to shoot a few light bulbs and stay close together for a cleanse is a mistake and you have yourself to blame for that not Bungie. I seriously feel people just fear change and there are people who were not assigned to be on portal squad on their raid team that think there teammates were doing some pro stuff while in the portal when it is actually incredibly simple. Using the relic is also simple and unless you are playing with jerks that have no interest in allowing you to learn how to use the relic in the event that 3 un-experienced players are ported and in that case you should find new friends. If you are worried about how you or your noob teammates will handle this change then it is on you to help explain it very clearly to them and you should have no problems. So what if you were becoming familiar with employing a strategy of a certain 3 people and now it is no longer going to be like that? Why should this change only be implemented on hard mode and not all modes. Anything that makes this game more difficult even if it is slightly Bungie has to listen to crybabies on the forum whine all day and night and it is very sad since this change is honestly not a big deal. Stop pretending that we the fans actually get to make the decisions on the game. Sure Bungie wants to keep their fanbase happy, but somewhere along the line you guys got confused and you seem to think that the community decides what kind of game this is going to be not the developers. The more vocal part of this community is the garbage part of this community, the line between much deserved criticism and whiny entitled man-children is becoming very blurred and it is so so sad. I wish everyone who non-stop says this game sucks and complains about everything would just retire and stop sharing your grief with the millions of people who enjoy this game and hope they continue to improve it because there is much room for improvement we all know this. But small changes being made to an end-game raid should be welcomed not complained about non-stop as if they are somehow ruining the raid. They are not, everything is going to be okay scared little scrubs.

To be honest I don't know what the problem is, everyone in the raid needs to be good at every aspect of it. The harder it is, the better it is .

I feel Bungie need to stop brain farting out patches and maybe release a poll in game to see how we feel first and then decide. Obviously not for things that are completely broken like pushing bosses off the map etc.

I really doubt that Deej will answer and far as I can see I play this piece of shit just to hang out with friends. I'll do the raid all up to Atheon then I'll just leave I refuse to play how Bungie sees fit

5 RepliesDid Atheon last night on normal. The random teleport definitely made the fight harder then I thought it would have been. Slipstream is still bugged, only sends 2 sometimes. One attempt we didn't get the buff after completing the portal. Preatorian still buggy. A couple of times the relic shield "cleansing shield" would bug out and leave us defenseless. A side note what's the secret to stopping the splash damage from getting into the shield.

8 RepliesThey wanted their raid to be very hard and that it would take for hours. But since a lot of people can complete it within 2 hours they got disappointed which is understandable. So with the new patch they make it harder for us. But the harder it is the more fun it is since, come on completing the raid every time within 2 hours while its supposed to be ''one of the hardest things in destiny'' it is pretty easy. Besides finishing Weekly heroic strike, nightfall and the raid in 1 day. Is just something boring since you have to wait another week to get loot.

4 RepliesPlease move Bastion and First Light to the Combined Arms playlist and take them out of normal rotation. I hate playing on these maps so much; all people do is snipe from across the map or patrol in their turrets, pikes an interceptors for pretty much the entire game :|

Then when salvage does become available the salvage bounty is not on the bounty board..lol great job Bungie, you really have no idea what is going on in your game unless the computer tells you..lol that is like having Norton virus protect but you PC has a virus that it can't. Detect..lol some programmers and gamers you guys turned out to be. Did 343 industries take all the gaming talent when you sold your number one franchise. Or did you sell you gaming souls to Sony and their servers..lol

1 ReplyI think bungie is just butthurt about people destroying their raid under an hour weeks after the game was launched. It's not that surprising considering the lack of other things to do past lvl 27+. They need to concentrate on what's broken NOW ie connection issues connection drops fire team communication issues. I feel it's a cop out to change a huge part of how the raid is played a month after it was released. They aren't fixing anything, they're just pissing people off. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
