"Rich cinematic story telling"
That is literally written on the back of the box.
English
-
Im sure it is rich cinematic story telling if you have the IQ of an oyster.
-
Isn't that misleading and deceiving misconduct :(
-
yea and after you've seen the cut scenes you'll just be going to orbit before they start or hitting change character to skip them
-
Oh my goddd I've been looking for a way to skip them. Thank you!
-
Holy shit! It does say that!! "Destiny is a next generation first person shooter, with rich cinematic story telling set in huge worlds to explore. Create and customize your guardian. Defeat your enemies. Become legend in intense cooperative, competitive, and innovative public gameplay modes." What a crock of shit. Where's the game they're talking about???
-
The reason they get away with that is because the semantics of what they're saying are only loosely defined. Technically, they didn't lie. The "Speaker" and "Ghost" tell strands of a story, and we're watching it on a 16x9 display, the same as those used in cinemas/theatres. Cinematic storytelling. Notice they didn't promise a "cinematic ending"? That'll be $40 more and a bit of download time.

I bought the digital version, and it has no box. That must explain why mine doesn't come with a story. :)

HaHA. Just one more reason to stick with the physical copy. I know I have learned my lesson.
-
Nice. Same here.
