Why doesn't anyone want to take the time to train a Raid group? They all just want to be able to switch out with different groups and "know their role" because they are just chasing loot, for the most part - not team work or community. The way to train for this is simple, but will be time consuming. This change will make the Raid that much more satisfying to accomplish. Be Brave.

Exactly. Spot on.

In a raid where you have no guaranteed rewards and can end up getting nothing of value for doing a raid run, I don't see why implementing this should be necessary. If I need to grind the raid countless times then at least let me and my team fill the roles we are good at and know. These alterations and the general structure of end game content are set up solely to force you to have to repeat it over and over and over. Rather than making a variety of rewards to incentivise you, the game's RNG and lacking loot pool punish you and force you to go back in order to even feel like that time was worth it. The raid, loot system, and mark caps are just a lazy way of generating longevity for the game. The life of the game has no substance, just forced repitition. Where other games' raids have set rewards to aspire to obtaining, this just makes you go in and hope RNGesus doesn't smite your ass with 3 shards and a color scheme.

The reward for completing the Raid is the accomplishment of doing it, the teamwork and the community. Raid loot is just a bonus that helps you with Raiding. This change will also make it harder, so there will be less Atheon at hard loot flying around (it's supposed to be very rare, not a must have for everyone). Everything in the game can be done at level 28, the "repetition" helps with Teamwork - which is emphasized in this game.

This is completely my opinion. Loads of players shitpost stuff like 'I did well in the Crucible and I got nothing', when you would imagine doing well would be its own reward. I would've done the Raid just for the sake of doing it, the stuff I got was just a bonus.
