Fastest way to upgrade weapons?
After attemping hard mode at level 29, I just feel like my weapons are shooting wet noodles at the enemies, just got an atheons epilogue which i havent upgraded yet, and i purchased the item from xur that speeds it up for 30 mins, but what is the fastest way to level up weapons? using the telemetry and turning in a bunch of bounties at once? grinding the strike playlist? what have you found effective?
also any tips for me for hard mode are appreciated ;)

have the weapon you want upgraded equipped when you turn in bounties complete most of the Vanguard ones they are easy and take a few minutes once your done put the weapon(s) in your vault and then with another character complete all the bounties again and just repeat daily until the weapons are fully upgraded.
