well at first i felt lucky to decrypt a blue engram and get a legendary chest pEice for my hunter, but when i went to the tiger strike and did phogoth the untamed strike and the very first enemy i killed, as soon as i entered where he was chained up, and saw a engram drop that was darker than usual...i almost passed out.
IT WAS A LEGENDARY ENGRAM... I WAS SO EXCITED I JUST WENT TO THE TOWER TO DECRYPT IT AND WHEN I DID...all my luck went to shit

bungie if you are gonna make legendary engrams so hard to get a drop from...at least make them what they advertised to be.
i could have ahd a legendary special or even better an exotic special, but no i guess all that grinding and finally being one of the VERY VERY VERY few peolpe to find one, all i getr is 3 ascendent energies.the worst part is, i DON'T EVEN HAVE A LEGENDARY OR EXOTIC WEAPON, SO THAT SHIT IS USELESS TO ME. WTF BGUNGIE.

I've gotten three legendary engrams here's what they turned out to be... Uncommon scout rifle Strange coin(which is ok) And rare shotgun that I already had So yeah bungee needs to give you what you spend days or even weeks grinding for.

Buy you weapons, and use the energy to upgrade. I'd take energy 500 times over the item. And Legendary drops are very uncommon, but not like you will never see one again. Stop complaining about that stupid crap and be happy you didn't get a blue from the purple engram because Bungie actually fixed that issue.

I AM COMPLAINING THAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT ASCENDANT MATERIALS ARE LEGENDARY ITEMS. Bungie told us in the patch notes that ascendant materials were promoted to legendary status. So legendary engrams can decrypt into ascendant materials. OP, your post was unnecessary and stupid. Boiled my blood to have to read this shit.

I got 3 just doing tiger strikes to get my vanguard marks yesterday. And even my buddy who has the worst luck gets at least one a day. Personally I have 13 legendary weapons and 6 exotic weapons. Its a mmo. Get used to mmo mechanics and stop whining because you didnt get what you wanted. If you want the best stuff put some time aside and sit your butt in tiger strikes for some hours and actually earn the right to use gear labeled as legendary and/or exotic.

As a lvl 28 with 90 hours played and crytarch lvl 15. I have gotten 0 legendary drops since cryptard update

I still get them easily on my 29 warlock. Like I said, put the time into farming them if u want them. I work 5 days a week and I play a little after work and more on my days off. My crypt guy is rank 26. You want the gear. Work for it. Thats the basis of any mmo

I have 4 exotic and 16 legitimate legendary items (queens wrath don't count) just not from engrams. I worked up my ranks and bought them. As I said. I have plenty of time in game.

I dont have any queens gear either. Im saying the difference in the crypt rank shows the difference in the amount of farming. I only buy legendaries to break them down. Every single one of my legendary and exotic weapons except my regime I got from drops. And since im working on raid gear my armor is from drops too, except my exotic helm. People complain when they cant get them when there is many ways to get them. You dont need something classified as legendary or exotic handed to them on a platter

Which helps :p I do the nightfall, weekly, almost every daily (I work long hours and can't get on every day, and probably wouldn't if I could) yet I have not gotten 1 legendary drop since update I can probably could count the decoherent on my appendages. Sure I get some as rewards, but again, I don't count them as an actual drop. I get hundreds of green drops. But of course those don't help cryptarch.

Do you go solo? Always go with at least 2 people in ur personal fireteam. From my personal experience drop rate increases when you do. As well as the monsters get a boost too tho

Even on the daily I take my pve partner. Anything done in game I always make sure I got him with me. And once I got my team fully stabalized for the raid. I took us original 6 and made a clan with us a the the head. Adding people to the clan who wants to join and finding players who need vault runs. Ive already done vog 3 times this week alone. And sunday is our vog hard run. Once i get the full teams for things. I have no problems with drops. And all my rares go to my alts for their upgrading as I level them.

Bro you just have to play the game. 3 exotic guns, 4 legendary guns from a mix between drops, engrams and marks. Your best bet is to farm marks. Only absolute way to get legendary gear. Your time will come.

Ascendant shards and energy are very valuable. I would be grateful to pick that up for playing a game. It's supposed to be fun, it's not there to support you or your family. If you're not having fun play something you like. Just a suggestion.
