You can check my kill stats and see that a lot of them come from fusions even though I run shotgun as my secondary (you can tell from again, my kill stats) I'm fine on how the Vex is. Scrubs who relied on bodyshots will complain since that's how they got kills. [spoiler]The gear I have equipped is my raid setup, if you couldn't tell from me equipping my Ice Breaker. [/spoiler]
