  • I made a post just like this and couldn't agree more. All I can figure is that it's more difficult to code it than just a blanket reduction. All one hit abilities other than a sniper headshot or direct hit rocket can go in my opinion. Supers should do a large amount of damage and then possibly a DOT afterwards.

  • I'm really just trying to advocate that they explain the decision to do things like they did instead of not using the existing mechanism in game which differentiates PvE and PvP play. It seems they've upset a lot of PvE players at the expense of people being unhappy about PvP. When there was a mechanism in place (apparently) that could have adjusted one and not the other, why didn't they use it? If it's more complicated than that, then tell us. Don't assume we can't or don't want to understand. It's like your parent saying you can't have the piece of cake you want because a) you're hungry and b) cake tastes fantastic. Daddy coming in and saying 'NO!' with no reason is so much more disrespectful and non-endearing than a father coming in and saying "No cake right now. We're about to go eat dinner. After dinner you can have a dessert, but only if you eat your green beans." In the first case, Dad is an asshole. In the second case Dad is someone looking out for my well being and allowing me to enjoy my cake eating.
