Thank you bungie for nerfing mythoclast, but you are not done yet.
Let's face it, none of you earned that mythoclast. Somebody helped you get it. It's only fair that bungie make it less powerful. For that bungie, my opinion of you has been raised. I had a reason to do the VoG on hard until now, thanks for getting rid of it. Your recent decisions seem to be after my own heart. But you are not done yet. The suros regime, rocket launchers, supers are still overpowered because they can kill somebody.
I noticed you got rid of the fallen in the rocket yard too. That's a good call because otherwise people would be able to fulfill their bounties AND have social lives to take care of. But you're still not done. People still get rewards for running the strike playlist. That needs to be nerfed as well. Let's say you can only go into the strike playlist once per day. This daily limit could also be applied to the missions, VoG, Crucible, and patrol sessions. Basically if there is any amount of fun in the game at all, you have done something wrong. Now please continue to make Destiny more unrewarding than before.

8 RepliesWhere exactly do you get that sense of entitlement? Why do you feel like you have a right to an extremely overpowered gun you lucked into? You have no idea how many people are reading your post and laughing because of how much of a baby you are making yourself out to be. Quit using OP weapons as a crutch, quit cheesing bosses and git gud. Also quit bitching about loot caves. Takes just as much time to do a strike as it does to sit by a cave, only difference is you have to actually play the game.

It's never going to be balanced, because there's tons of different weapons and armor out there... Imo it's something that will take a lot to be up to my standards but like I always say at the end of my posts I'm a halo fan and will be switching when it comes out on the one

3 RepliesHell, why not! Let's just go ahead and only allow 15 marks per month instead of 100 per week. Then, let's limit any engram to 5 per month, per logon, not character class. And while you're at it, let's just drop 50 percent of the weapons and armor because you won't need as much due to the changes above. Take away the Sparrows too as people are using them to farm the enemy and get tons of engrams. The biggest change that needs to be made is to only allow departure from the tower twice during a given week, again, per logon not character class. People need to spend more quality time with the Gunsmith, Xur when he's there, and to continue searching for the Queen, who is obviously hiding in there somewhere. Also, add a huge sign over the ramp adjacent to the "Special Orders" building directing people over to the fan activation floor panels so we can be launched into the air from the building fan more easily, and since we'll have more quality time in the Tower anyway. They gotta make sure players aren't having fun so that the game can be compared to World of Warcraft and Everquest. If the game is fun, that comparison will never be made.

This is the one thing no one seems to understand. this game is a slot machine disguised as a first person shooter. You may have beat the VOG but beating it is JUST a chance at pulling the handle on the slot machine. It's not earned, it's winning the lottery. Edit: Ok... Farming the weekly for coin is earning those strange coins BUT any strange coins that were received by the RNG are not earned and any weapon bought with those coins was not earned. Exotic bounties are earned. NOTHING else in this game is earned.

It may be "farm Relic Iron day", or "kill one Walker day". You can do that activity and just be thankful they let you past the loading screen(s). Because as we all knew from the very beginning, we signed on to play the game EXACTLY HOW THE DEVELOPERS DEMAND THAT WE PLAY IT, and if we stray in any way they will create new boundaries to keep us in line. And remember: the more fun or effective a weapon or activity is, the more compelled you should be to immediately stop said activity, report it to the Brownshirts at Bungie, and monitor your fellow gamers to report any of them for partaking in said activity.
