Old space station? Check. Darkness? Check. Lukos and Kaeneth competing with each other? Check. Another swell chapter, indeed.

Edited by SaviorsBlood: 10/13/2014 2:13:26 AMThank you. I did my best to add all those ingredients for a kind of fun filled mission in a horror setting introduction. Hope it delivered. What did you enjoy the most in this long overdue chapter?

The return of Sachal! That, and the interactions/dialogue among the Sachal team.

Edited by SaviorsBlood: 10/13/2014 2:21:40 AMI share your enthusiasm man. I've been so anxious for Shachal to return too. I'm glad that I finally have started up again. The dialogue was especially fun to write in this chapter. One of my favorites when looking at that aspect. Which dialogue did you like most? Lukos and Kaeneth? Or Tharsos and Petros?
-
Lukos and Kaeneths; always good. Easy to imagine them sitting in the Volframios armory, competing with one another, taunting one another to see who is the better.
-
Don't get me wrong, I liked both sets, but theirs was very entertaining. How do you feel about their friendship and this competition they've set up?
-
I feel that it's a relationship that will take its toll on one or the other member in the long run. Almost like a nephew and uncle hanging out.
-
I like how you put that. That's the kind of relationship i'm trying to go for with them. Lukos really only gets along with Kaeneth in this way. Maybe it's just that they're both Hunters. Who are you putting your money on?
-
I put 500 Monopoly money on Lukos; Kaeneth though, I'm uncertain what either might do.
-
Haha I guess it's better than nothing. How do you feel about Petros' talk with Tharsos?
-
I think Petros' computer like ways will be the death of itself. There seems to be a lot about the Awoken that Petros knows about and Tharsos may just have to...force it from it one of these days.
-
Petros is a very old Ghost and knows a lot about a lot. As crude and disrespectful as he can be for a Ghost, do you think he has good reason to keep his "mouth" shut or do you think he's just being a menace just for kicks?
-
A good reason I imagine, but you never know with Ghost. I wonder, what is the significance of long range weapons, in close range combat (in the case of them going underground in close quarters).
-
Good question. Not taking all the firepower you can carry while remaining light when so many unknown variables lie secret in this ancient station would be unwise. For one, who's to say there might not be somewhat longer sight lines where they can use their sniper rifles? And as comfortable as these Hunters are with their inventories and skill sets, having the tools they're good with on hand can provide more options than without. Tharsos is just wanting to cover all potential bases as a precaution for these unknowns.
-
Oh, yeah; I understand that. Narrow passage ways just make mobility harder to use long guns.
-
Oh, no doubt the long rifles wouldn't serve well in sweeping maneuvers in CQC. Don't worry. I understand that and I assure you Shachal does as well man.
