Exotic Class Items From Factions?

Anyone got one of these yet? Been grinding FWC to try and get the Chaos Cloak but alas no luck. Also, does anyone know if it would take your exotic armor slot?

I cant say that i know for sure but I heard that it would not being as it is not classified as armor
