It shows the make up of our current society. Instead of finishing what they start people feel entitled to prizes for participation. How can you lose and complain about not being rewarded? Losing doesn't deserve a reward. The game gives you crucible marks and regular rep. You can lose in the IB and be rewarded as a winner. SMH. Soft as society.

  • Lets say you make an investment. After a while figures don't start to look good, you know you could withdrawal your investment and save whatever you have left, or chance it and risk losing it all completely. Time is your investment, rep is your reward, and cutting your losses as to not waste time in order to get more chances at more rep is not only common sense, but a much better life practice than your whole "starting something and finishing it" which only applies to things you can achieve personally such as goals, projects, personal health and so on. Not a random video game that puts you with Non-communication parties for 15 minutes that has a possibility of only being a time sink. I understand the mentality you're trying to convey, but it is unfortunately inapplicable in this certain circumstance pertaining to this video game.

  • Right. I see your point. I get it. But you're leaving others in a bad spot. Others who've made the same commitment as you an expects the same out of you. Its different when you're the only one impacted. But others may not feel like you and by quitting you're ruining their playing experience. But do you.

Your tears, they slake my thirst. I bathe in them at night under the glowing warmth of your sense of entitlement.

  • Obviously your time isn't as valuable as mine, sorry for the assumption. Carry on drinking tears, all the best.

  • It doesn't show the state of anything. People are simply attacking a system in the most efficient way possible. Calm down with all your philosophical bullshit

  • Be mad, but it's true. Half the posts are about being rewarded for losing. That make sense to you?

  • Efficiency is the slogan of modern days skrub. If you earned something off losing you would still be working towards said stated goal, maintaining some level of efficiency. Especially for an event that is only 7 days and demands that you win upwards of hundreds of games to actually get anything out of it. Getting nothing out of loss means 0 efficiency, and for a limited time event having 0 efficiency for a large portion of your effort means wasted effort. Putting your effort towards a win however... maybe you can use brain cells and not a 20 year old philosophy textbook you bought at a bookstore to fill that in.

  • Being efficient is great and all, but it's a game that's touted as not being for the faint of heart. Giving rewards for losing cheapens victories. If you lose a game you have wasted an opportunity. That's the point. If you lose you get CM, XP and non-IB rep. You also get a shot at random loot. Quit acting entitled. I write computer scripts for a living so I understand efficiency. But there are situations where losing is just losing. You should get nothing.

  • Yes it does. Bc if you want full games with max teams, in this game, under all the current conditions you have to have it. Staying on a losing team is inefficient right now.
