Well I'm going in ten and I'm starting to think I'll never get out, I've written hundreds of messages to my parents, my brother... my wife. Never have I received a response, lately I've stopped sending these messages all together. Mars is a lonely little rock, people know there's nothing here but you just won't understand that until you've spent ten years here, of course you can take up a hobby while you're here, but that only helps a little. Puzzles, video games, rover derbies, which are pretty boring by yourself, anything to keep myself sane. But none of it helps, 10 long years and it hasn't helped a bit, the only thing to be thankful for on this red rock spinning it's orbit is that the habitation modules all worked when we got here, so I have food, but the modules weren't meant to go this long without maintenance, most of them barely work anymore...
