In a less satirical note, the level advantages do work a little. At level 22, I actually CAN'T kill a level 29 with a single shotgun blast.

Actually, the level advantage doesn't work... at all. Multiple times yesterday I was one shoted by a stupid level 21 with a stupid sidewinder mk 35 or whatever it's called. Im level 29. Hell, I got into it with a level 11 and died from his teammate after unloading a decent amount of rounds on his head. It looked like I only managed to take out his shield when I saw his health bar. The "level advantage" is all a facade.
