Vex Origin Theory

I have been thinking about the Vex and the plot of Destiny, with all of the things we know and don't know and I've come up with some thoughts regarding a possible future for the plot of the game, origin of the Vex and the Stranger's ultimate goal: First, let's look at the things we know: -The Stranger wants the player to stop the Vex, and does not have a ghost. -She appears to have technology beyond the typical equipment found by the player in the game. -The Vex warp and appear to have time travel capabilities. -The Vex do not communicate, and explode in a blue light when killed with a precision shot. -Bungie has described the Vex as having a "fascinating" fiction behind them, "which, in turn, creates one of the coolest deaths in the game." -Darkness, by definition, is an absence of light. So, here's my theory, I haven't done much research in to existing theories, so bear with me if this is similar or has already been said:
The Vex come from the future in order to eliminate the traveler, and the guardians, extinguishing the light at it's weakest moment, In order to extinguish the light the Vex will try to corrupt the Traveler. The stranger comes from a future where the Vex were successful, this is the reason she has no ghost. Wishing to stop them, she contacts the player, and provides them information and directs them where to go. The Vex themselves bear many similarities to ghosts, the ghosts teleport, have a central light, appear to be robotic. The Ghosts communicate directly to the player, and the Vex do not communicate at all... because they are the result of the corrupted ghosts due to their success in corrupting the Traveler. the Vex are ensuring their creation, or strengthening their position in their war in the future, while the Stranger is trying to stop them. But, how could the Vex exist if they are their own progenitors? Good question, the way I see it, there are a couple different options: 1. The original Vex could have been forged from a Fragment of the Traveler, similar to what the Hive were working with on the moon. They would have set up the Black Garden as a base to build there forces for several decades/centuries and then make their move after the collapse. 2. Time travel can create alternate, tangent timelines, and when the Stranger travelled back, it created the opportunity for the player to change the future. Tangent timelines can get messy, so this option is a little less likely, but in order for it to make sense, you have to look at the future and work backwards.
Let me know what you think! I love discussing this kind of stuff and trying to figure things out before they're revealed!
