We need a Materials Shop
There really needs to be a NPC selling all this materials that we need to upgrade our guns and armor. It's so tedious and time consuming to look for this materials especially when we have all this glimmer. Anyone else feel the same?

1 ReplyNo. There are only 6 mats in this game, 2 of which are legendary and should not be bought so easily. Other games have hundreds of different mats and no one really complains about having to farm for them.

It wouldn't be an issue, if every freaking end game armor piece didn't require Helium Filament. I am rather tired of farming the same boring map over and over, because they didn't add any variety into what they assigned for each set. Vendor armor requires it, raid armor requires it, many of the exotic weapons/armor require it, etc. It would have been nice if they had either assigned one mat type to each slot, or at least added a little variety in some way (vendor requires helium, engram/reward requires spinmetal, normal raid bloom, hard raid relic iron). Just anything to have broken up the monotony of always needing the same thing every time you upgrade. It basically encourages you to skip as much as you can when you get alts, to avoid the monotony times three.

Jesus, let's just make this babies first mmo. Is thengial now to see how easy this game can get. Soon it will be simply just hit a/x to play. Seriously. Quit being a lazy Shit and go farm for a couple minutes. Figure out a route and you can easily get 50 of each in like 15mins. There's a bunch of YouTube videos showing the best locations to farm.

1 ReplyOr your just too lazy or don't have the time to go and hunt for materials. This is probably one of many pointless ideas. There would be almost no point in exploring and that's what Destiny was aiming for.

But I do think they should allow you to trade in mats for other stuff (outside rep an marks). I have a couple hundred wire from my hunter with no use. It'd be nice to use it on something now that I have hundreds of them
