Utterly disappointed.. Why are guardians leaving Iron Banner?
Played about 4 or 5 games of Iron Banner yesterday for my first experience and all of them were join in progress games. Why are people leaving? Only scumbags do that. Don't be a scumbag. I got completely owned in the join in progress games but still managed a positive K/D and I didn't leave. Why would you leave your team? You only care about yourselves? That's the one thing that really bothers me about multiplayer games. People will always leave you. Like why the hell would you play PvP in the first place if all you can manage is leaving your team behind? Guardian SCUM. There's no place for the likes of you in the Crucible or Iron Banner! Let alone the Tower! We fight for pride and glory! Guardians like you don't deserve to be called Guardians! Milk drinkers! Leave your mothers breasts!
EDIT 1: Last bit was a joke. Relax. A lot of people got butt hurt.
EDIT 2: To be clear, this post is not directed to people who get disconnected.

If its on purpose its really annoying, but since Iron Banner started, I keep getting server connection errors which are kicking me out, always when i am doing ok too which is even worse >,<

Mostly, it is quite simple. 30 point's reward to win in Iron Banner, and nothing for losing. If you are in a bad game, then people will leave. There are people out there that think they are so superior, that if they think (or know) they will lose, leave the game. Above all that Iron Banner is badly thought out, we deserve our point's reward, win or lose. PvP is bad enough, but to be even further humiliated by zero point's, that is just too much. And, lastly, Control. Do we really want to spend hour's, or even day's doing the same crap. To be clear, I have never left a game. I just understand why some do, although I can not defend them for it, I can understand.

people leave because one, IB is pointless, and two, people are starting to become fed up with fighting multiple enemies while their team caps a vacant point. I can't tell you how many times on the shores of time, where i'll be battling an entire team over B flag. Then when i'm killed, i look and see my whole team capping A flag.

Because the game incentivizes quitting, because you get nothing but frustration for staying if you're losing, while the entire point of the event is to gain points.

Bc if loosing you only get iron rep if you winning so they leave so they can start the next game faster

Getting some points would be nice but it's not mandatory. Personally I like the competition better in the Iron banner. I felt a little balanced where my durability spec made a difference. Fusion rifles galore still, but it didn't feel so vanilla like the regular crucible.

Most people are grinding rep and losing does not give anything. But the whole iron banner and the same with the queens wrath is just a pure fail and does bungie listen to us ? ofc not like fusion rifle should have been nerfed weeks ago in PvP. Well anyway basicly all their weekly special stuff (queens wrath , iron banner) is just doing the same story missions and the same PvP maps and it is really lazy from bungie and you can't tell me a project costing 500 mil they can't give us something else then the same stuff over and over again.

Quitting every match where my team is losing from the start and once the other team is ahead there is no reason to stay.

They should take out exp of IB if you leave... Today it happened to me in 5 games and that sucks , or the game put me into a game 11000-4000 loosing.

leaving a game is perfectly fine, if they wanted to penalize us for leaving they would have, but it seems that they just dont care, an ever expanding trend with bungie and this game.

I personally rarely rage quit. I do however get why people do it. When you realize youre plaing with a bunch of PUGs that act like lemmings and just go running as fast as they can toward their corpse only to add to the pile. You notice the other team is running together and using coms and teamwork and you can get none of your teammates to do anything but run off and die. I get it. You can just drop the game and start a new one and hope for a better match up. This will keep happening until matchmaking is ranked. I normally sit through the match because quitters never win but sometimes ya fcuk it. I quit.

Sadly the kto shit had been WAY worse for me since the "patch" that was supposed to fix the issue dropped on Tuesday. Like I said I'm sure it's not everyone having issues but it still happens. I'm surprised that you believe people should care about strangers at all ... I only care about me, my fun with the game and my time. If I don't feel like continuing to play a pvp match, the VERY LAST thing I will think of is a bunch of strangers on my "team" ... This is a very realistic point of view and probably not the most popular. I don't see a bunch of random people joining me for 10 mins as a TEAM so I couldn't care less.
